There is a seemingly endless supply of these kind of "Italian" cafes around Victoria, and probably all over London. They always seem to serve an incongruous mix of English breakfasts and notionally Italian sandwiches. These establishments largely cater for nearby office workers, and/or tourists, and all appear to subscribe to a similar philosophy that food is essentially a fungible commodity, a service where quality doesn't matter, like key cutting or dry cleaning.
