It was amazing one day of my life in London and Buckingham Palace made it absolutely beautiful unforgettable! This place absolutely deserves price of the tickets . We have been seen kings thrones and their rooms. The most incredible thing was painting ! I am a big fan of Art and for me was really important to see pictures of royal families. But the most incredible surprise was to see PAUL RUBENS painting! I didn’t know that this famous art available for public in this palace . So I was happy that my childhood dream came true! Also musician room was really interesting. A specially secret mirror and golden furniture. The minus that I didn’t get any information about golden fortepiano inside. I wish to know more about every piece in this place. But in general audio guide was really helpful. And it is good that it is for free. So you shouldn’t pay extra. Even online when they ask you pay for guid they do mean book with pictures and stories . But audio guid available inside for everyone who paid for tickets . But! We booked tickets online. So I am not sure that everything the same when you are buying there. You always can double check on their website I guess. I just wanna let you know that before going inside you have to find toilet somewhere else , because there are toilets only after excursion. So to make your stay comfortable there (because it can take time to see all amazing art pieces) better prepare yourself. Also what I wanna mention here is a very expensive store. When you will live palace there will be shop in the left corner. I suggest you to plan spend around 100 pounds there. Cos everything really nice and you would like to save something for memory . But if you want something better than cookies and sweets - presents really expensive. We bought 3 toys (medium size) and we spend 75 pound. If to be honest it is little bit too much for toys. But they have been so cute so I can’t resist. Not far from palace we found great park with squirrels and nice sunset. I was happy to found so many good locations for pictures - fountain, park, palace square. Btw, you can’t take pictures inside the palace. But I think it is good, because atmosphere there really nice and will be big shame to ruin it with endless...

A tradition that’s been honored since 1837. It boasts a plethora of rooms inc’l 19 State Rooms, 92 Offices, 52 Royal and Guest Bedrooms and many bathrooms & staff rooms. A staggering total of: 775 all together!
There’s no cost to visit & view the outside. To tour the interior, it costs approx: 32 Euros. To see the Changing of the guard is free but very, very crowded so check the times in advance and arrive early to see this grand event, it usually starts at 11 am (but not daily). Check the original Household Division website for exact info. Make sure to dress accordingly & bring a boatload of patience (and your camera!).
I really enjoyed seeing the amazing architecture, all the gilded ironwork & Statuary as well as the gardens. You can’t possibly understand the scope of “inordinate wealth” until you visit here, see it with your own eyes, and review the history of the Monarchy. I thought “wow” some people actually live like this…! And look at how they achieved it 🤷♀️. I wouldn’t personally enjoy the notoriety (or reputation of colonizer) but it’s a very grand lifestyle to say the least; a true spectacle.
On the grounds, picture taking opportunities abound & there’s quite a bit of “electricity” in the air. Traveling here is expensive & in my opinion, very rigid. It’s nice that you can see the Palace and view the Changing for free as basically aside from viewing the Big Ben Clock Tower and the Eye of the Needle (riding is w ticket purchase only) everything else requires an entry fee which can add up if you’re bringing multiple guests.
My favorite tourist spot was the Tower of London & viewing the Crown Jewels which costs about 35 Euros per person. The Tower isn’t too crowded if you go early and there’s a lot of informative placards as you roam which explain the history of the rooms (inc’l the torture chambers; macabre!). The Palace, Tower Clock (aka ❤️Sexy Big Ben 🥰), Buckingham Palace & Eye of the Needle were in my estimation all worthy of a...
