Dean's Peri-Peri — Restaurant in London

Ordered with Uber eats. I live less than a mile from shop. I see where delivery person was on map so was waiting for a call. Called and put phone down. I rang back gave the directions he said ok put phone down. 15 mins still waiting that should have been 2 mins away when I spoke to him looked on map he same place not moved. He then rang put phone down so I rang back. After 40plus mins he finally arrives with cold food I refused it telling him to get me fresh hot food that I paid for and hurry as I’m waiting to take important medication and can’t take it without food (insulin) he then put hands in prayer stance pouted bottom lip out saying please please take it. Told him again I’m already late could he please bring me back fresh food that is hot. He then tells me he got puncture. He went never came back then when I got in touch with Uber had to argue as they said he tried to contact me and showed photo of food in his hand (taken on a different road not mine) so no food couldn’t take life saving medication tried ringing shop and they don’t take calls it rings once crackers then goes dead. Don’t waste money...

I ordered grilled chicken rice and corn on the cob for myself, and chicken and chips for the little ones. The children didn't complain, so I assume they enjoyed their food. However, for me, the rice was bland and extremely dry but I was hungry so ate most of it begrudgingly, there was a reasonable amount of chicken pieces on top. The corn on the cob was freshly cooked and whole.

On this occasion, the tables and floor were not that clean even though it wasn't busy (empty seats and no queues). I had to clean our table before sitting to eat.

I personally visit the shop . I ordered the kebab roll and it was absolutely amazing! The meat was juicy and full of flavor, wrapped in a soft, fresh naan with just the right amount of sauces and veggies. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. Great value for the price too! Will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommended!.And the lady is really Nice on the shop. Other staff is also very good...
