Dee's — Restaurant in London

The place is a JOKE. We ordered a few dishes for our group. The order was immediately accepted by the restaurant. Knowing that time is ALWAYS an issue with this place we ordered the food expecting a wait - 1 hour later, no update... fine.

90 minutes later, a man calls us saying all the dishes we've ordered are unavailable (jerk chicken & oxtail both with rice and peas). Offering us fried chicken... ridiculous. His excuse was that they only JUST saw the order and all the food for the evening was gone - why then would the restaurant accept the order then 90 minutes prior?

This place has gotten away with subpar service for far too long. Food is always late and there's ALWAYS some kind of problem. Why I continue to support their business and order from them - I dont know. They will never receive my business again - EVER.

If you're hungry and want your food at a reasonable time don't bother, plenty of other Caribbean places in the area offering (tbh, the same subpar service) but at least they'll keep you informed and deliver your food at a reasonable time. Dee West is a waste of time! And their customer service...

I can't review the quality of your food because it didn't even show up. I ordered from you for the first time and being pregnant I craved a curry goat so much that I was looking forward to it and I am disgusted how you simply had zero customer care. After 1 hour of waiting after ordering through Just eat, I called you to see when you'd roughly a (as sometimes just eat timings can be off slightly) and a man on the phone said that the driver isn't at the restaurant yet so once he's back he will deliver my food. I ordered at 7pm and at 8.35pm! I actually thought I'd give them a chance and call once more to check if there was any further delay because Ill need to order elsewhere if that's the case as I'm now super hungry, NO answer whatsoever after I called 3 times! Your a total a total Joke if this is what you call a business, if this is what you call customer care! That's customer negligence and ignorance in my opinion. I agree with one of the following reviews I had read prior to ordering, its like the meat pieces are cut up extra small to spread it out more and probably cut cost but makes the meals extremely annoying to eat and you end up with lots of sharp bones and small bone bits so i wouldnt recommend giving to small children as its a choking hazard really, that was my main gripe aswell as the oxtail being very very plain, I was surpised as a caribbean who knows how the flavours should be, I had to add salt and hot sauce to it to give it abit more flavour and it didnt taste fresh. The curry goat was nicely flavoured but not enough gravy given and again the small cut up bits are bad. I also got a cheesy beef pattie which was okay, beef in it was nice but just a little prewarning the cheese used is what u would call american cheese/hamburger cheese which i felt didnt match to well with the beef.
