Divino — Restaurant in London

Beautiful venue, delicious food and wine! I had booked a table myself and five girlfriends for dinner last Friday evening. I booked a week in advance very easily directly through the restaurant's website and received a text and email confirmation immediately.

On the night we were all very impressed by the decor and warmth of the greeting we were each given on arrival.

The setting is intimate, luxurious and sophisticated if you want somewhere for a relaxed drink and meal without having to push through crowds or shout to make yourself heard. The prices are on the slightly higher side but for the quality of the whole place this is to be expected and dare I say, at the risk of snobbish, it keeps the whole vibe of the venue slightly more refined.

Service was very fast, attentive and friendly. I had a brandy and coke then I tried a house red wine which was very good (the lovely gentleman who served it initially offered to swap it if I didn't like it). They are definitely wine connoisseurs!

My friends and I were all happy with our food and drinks. I ordered the Caeser Salad pictured and a lovely, decadent chocolate concoction for dessert which a few of us shared and thoroughly enjoyed.

Will definitely be returning and several of my friends said the same!

Going by the reviews, I had great expectations.

It was my birthday. Walked in and wasn’t greeted by any staff for such an awkward amount of time.

Then I approached a young boy sitting facing the window and realised he must work there and he said sit anywhere.

We only ordered drinks as couldn’t wait to get out of there so I can’t comment on food.

There were a couple other customers but they may all be known to the staff but there was zero atmosphere, the female waitress was rude, didn’t smile or talk, except to the guy, and didn’t understand English well.

We asked for the candle holder on our table to have a candle put on and lit - denied and no niceness.

Second tequila shot I ordered I had to ask for tissues and salt & lemon.

I had birthday balloons and not one member of staff could acknowledge or offer a free shot or make a vibe.

Worst place I’ve ever been to!

She just sat behind the counter vaping and on her phone and the guys looked like they were doing drug deals.

We were away on the week end and had lunch here on Saturday and then dinner with friends as we celebrated an anniversary and birthday on Sunday. Divino is a very modern lovely restaurant the food was presented nicely and food was amazing, Annisa, Vicenzo and others where so friendly they couldn't do enough for us we were a group of 8 on Sunday evening for dinner and the food was all excellent we also meet the shef , who was also very nice, the restaurant also have best wines .we all had a brilliant time, with brilliant food, and brilliant staff we wish you all every success in this newly opened restaurant we will all be back to come and see you...
