Absolute WORSE experience ever. Ordered a pizza last night; was told pizza would to be in the downstairs lobby in 45 minutes, yet the pizza arrived in 20 minutes (with no notification) and the driver left (never to return). 👀👀👀 In desperation, we "attempted" to order again tonight...... I told them that I'm from another country on vacation (to ensure payment would be accepted), and that I wanted to pay by credit card. The man on the phone explained that a signature would be required, so we had to pay upon delivery. THAT was completely understandable & agreeable. The pizza (beef, pepperoni, sausage, onion, & green pepper) arrived, driver scanned the card, did NOT ask for a signature, and left. Once in the room we discovered that our basic pizza had corn 👀👀, pinapple, and ham on it....... Who eats corn on pizza??? I called immediately, spoke with the same gentleman, explained that the wrong pizza was mistakenly delivered, and asked for a redo He said said "No Problem"!!!! ( GREAT customer service by him). Long story short, the new pizza arrived, the old one given back, and magically "my card was denied" so they wanted another payment. Because my roomie, nor I believed that, we didn't give a credit card again, the old yucky pizza taken back, and the correct pizza was NOT delivered. My roomie comes back to explain what happened, and I'm shocked. If payment was denied initially, whhhyyyyyyyyy would the driver leave a pizza??? Anywho, I called back AGAIN (needless to say i'm VERY annoyed at this point) and ask for the manager. This time it's a young lady on the phone. I explained to her literally Four Times what happened, and what I actually ordered (by the way....the pizza store is literally less than three blocks away). She placed me on hold to consult with her driver, she came back on the line to explain that a signature was required, and that is why the payment was denied. I told her that was already expected, and questioned why the driver hadn't asked for/wasn't briefed/told that when delivering the pizza in the first place; I suggested more training to avoid these issues in the future. I agreed to pay by credit card again, yet WANT a copy of the initial "declined" payment for my records as well. She took my order, repeated it back incorrectly (twice) which utterly baffled me. I looked toward my roomie and mouthed "what the frick", and began repeating the toppings that I wanted again. The Manager hung up. SMH I called back immediately to finish the order, yet the new mature "manager" wouldn't get on the phone, and instead had an employee/driver answer who snottily told me that the manager isn't available, then Hung Up as well. If you want anything at all to eat, DO NOT, I repeat, Do Not order from this place. I'd suggest eating peanut butter & crackers, or a fried salami sandwich before ordering...
Read moreTo whomb it may concern... It t'was a busy Tuesday night shift, my colleagues and I felt rather peckish and desired to line our stomaches with some delicious doughy delights. We were enticed in by the promise of two for Tuesday and proceeded to place our orders accordingly. Our delicasies had been selected however we were unable to get delivery, this was the first of our whoes. Left with no other choice we were forced to converse with the store itself which left us all rather bemused and dumbfounded. Upon calling the store we were told that the postcode in where we would roundevous with the delivery man/woman did not exist, which is incorrect as we had received previous orders from this location. Upon providing a new postcode we were also told this does not exist, the lady on the phone did not seem to grasp the idea of a 'New postcode' and took an outrageous ammount of time to get this information across. To our relief the new postcode was accepted and the lady seem confused at the fact we was calling the establishment to order said doughy delights, not to have an argument over a postal code. Because of our foreplanning and preparation our order was written down which simplified the task for said lady on the phone, however we were sorely mistaken. After placing an order for 8 pizzas and some chicken kickers we thought the labourious task of conversing on the phone was over however by the time we had finished our 25 minute phonecall we were all none the wiser on whether we was getting 8 or 64 pizzas the ammount of times the order needed repeating. Thankfully after the manager getting involved and one last final clarification the order was placed on Wednesday morning. The pizza arrived as promised and was delicious however we are all rather full. The only thing we are awaiting now is my colleagues phone bill which we are concerned may infact be more expensive than the acctual...
Read moreDishonest and Disgraceful Business! Places an order online with Domino's Cranford as I have for many years. I keep a sharp eye on the domino's tracker so I'm ready for the driver on arrival. When checking the tracker the status went from "out for delivery to delivered" which I found strange as no driver or my order had arrived. Like a lot of people, I have networked CCTV on my home which I checked and no driver made an attempt to deliver my order. I than called the Domino's Cranford store to enquire where the driver was and advise the tracker status showed delivered. The shift manager I spoke with advised at first the driver had pushed the delivery status, then the tracking system was malfunctioning (which was it). I was then advised the driver would arrive in 5-7 minutes. I advised the shift manager to cancel the order and kindly arrange a refund, to which I was told would take 6-7 working days. This is not an isolated issue, it has happened previously at this very domino's store in Cranford - delivery drivers clicking they've delivered an order when they hadn't which mislead customers. In my opinion, the first time is a mistake, the second time is a habit. It's clear to me from this experience, this establishment is dishonest, misleads customers and is happy to hold payment for as long as possible for a service not delivered. I thankfully found a nice, independent pizzeria which delivered in a reasonable time and the food was delicious. My 18 years of business ordering from Domino's Cranford has come abruptly to an end. My only advice I can offer to potential customers is, look elsewhere for your pizza craving. You don't have to far in the immediate...
