Was passing through Tooting and saw this shop was new, so dropped in. First impressions - impressed by the authenticity of the food items, tasted fairly fresh, portion size was reasonable and easy on the pocket. Mutton kebab roll (4/5) Karak chai (3/5) Chicken biryani (4/5) This place is more of a tea and snack place as opposed to having a full on sit down meal. But it was nice to have these types of snacks and tea from somewhere that wasn't a franchise. It's still early days for this place and the interior is still being improved. But the service was friendly and items tasted good, so will definitely pop in again to try their other dishes.

Small biryani place in Tooting area. TBH it doesn't look much from outside, or inside when I mentioned that, and I didn't keep my hopes high. Surprisingly service was decent and food was decent too, even more than that. Big portions, maybe lacking with meat but can't complain much. Curry was good, not super hot for me, something to improve for sure. Not sure how long they keep food outside which might be a put off to some, food just doesn't look that fresh. If you have a taste for biryani, I'd recommend.

I only visited due to the positive reviews but I was very disappointed! Food is not fresh, I would go as far to say it's is made day before. The microwave the food depending on what you want. Food is kept and not.in fridge so on hot days it can go off quickly. The briyani I was given didn't smell to good. Service is decent but food was disappointing. I am vada pav fan but first time I had with breadcrumbs. Based on my experience I would not recommend.

Today, we decided to try the biryani from Chai Pani, expecting a flavorful and aromatic dish. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The moment we opened the container, we were greeted with an unpleasant smell that was strong and off-putting. It was evident that something was wrong with the dish, making it inedible.

We had high hopes given Chai Pani's reputation, but this experience was disappointing and did not meet our expectations in terms of quality and taste. We hope that the restaurant takes immediate steps to address whatever caused this issue, as it greatly affected our dining experience.

We would advise others to be cautious when ordering the biryani here and perhaps wait until the restaurant...

I initially tried out the food from chai pani and biryani on the recommended of a close family friend for an event. Before making a decision on what to order we had a taster session where we received very helpful guidance and advice by the owner. Staff were very pleasant. We eventually decided and ordered lamb biryani and veg biryani. Both were absolutely delicious our guest were very impressed with the quality and authentic taste of both. Delivered within a good time. The portions were very generous and the raitha was a lovely accompaniment. I would definitely order food from here again in the future. I would strongly encourage people to go and try it out you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for helping to make our...

Decided to go grocery shopping at Tooting and saw a place doing Pani Puri and Pav Bhaji. Since I've been craving Pav Bhaji I stepped in. But they were also serving fresh Indian food like Biriyani, Chicken Karahi, Chole Masala. I decided to try their biriyani since I had to get home and eat anyway.

Ooohhh man... Finally a place with really Good Biriyani...! Exact taste of home cooked food.. What's more? Gajar ka Halwa and Kheer also available ! For those who want a hot drink, they also do Karak Chai and Cinnamon Tea..

Worth the money and I jus can't wait to be back.. ! (Stop Mitre TJ)

P.S: This isn't some kind of paid review but instead genuine.. Head out there and you'll...
