Came here for my dad’s birthday after driving past this restaurant for years and never visiting before. We were all very excited as the restaurant is always busy, so we took that as a sign that this was a good place to eat. On arrival, we found the ambience and decor was very warm and lovely. Sadly, the service and food did not match this. Our waitresses were somewhat blunt and unfriendly - no smiles, nothing in terms of attentiveness or asking how our food was, no thanks at all despite tipping etc. We found the food was very overpriced for what it was - we have dined in many other tapas bars in both London and across Spain, and this was definitely on the pricier side. For £9.95, we would expected more than 4 small prawns as gambas al ajillo, which were chewy and were not unshelled properly. Apart from the grilled chorizo & patatas bravas, the other dishes were pretty underwhelming for the price. In the end, we paid about £100 for a meal where we all left hungry and very disappointed. I feel sad to give a negative review for a local business, but unfortunately, this was our honest experience.

Last night I visited El Molino, the atmosphere was great and the staff were super friendly. Prices were a bit higher than what I have had in Central London so was at first a bit surprised. However after eating 10 plates off of there Tapas menu I can see why. The food was really tasty and presented with care, not just slipped onto a plate and served. The dishes came out at the exact time we needed them. Not bombarded so that you can fit them all on the table. The only issues were that they brought us a wrong dish and did not bring the right dish out until we asked at the end. Which they apologised for. And the Sangria tasted like it was watered down. The dessert we have never had frozen before, prefer it to be refrigerated. However it’s good to try things differently. But the food made up for it. A lovely two hours spend on Halloween. 🎃👻🌈

I came across this place after we tried Tapeo in Beckenham and wanted to see if there were any alternatives. It says a lot that halfway through our main meal I was already thinking when we'd next be able to come back. The service was great, and whilst the restaurant might appear less slick than more modern tapas restaurants, it does fell warmer and more authentic. The food was fabulous - chorizo, chicken croquettes, patas bravas, gambas, calamares, and meatballs were all fresh and delicious. Despite choosing quite a heavy set of dishes, we left feeling pleasantly full despite also polishing off churros for dessert! When the bill arrived we'd have been happy to have spent a decent amount on the meal and drinks but were surprised it was less than expected. We'll definitely become regulars.

The food was really good but I was super disappointed with the service! I took my family who were visiting from Switzerland to this restaurant, we sat and ordered lots of food and a few bottles of wine. It got very dark and the lights kept dimming so we asked a waitress if it would be possible to turn the lights up and if we could have the candles on, she said no this is how we have them all the time. We were a little taken aback by how abrupt she was but let it slide ( we all work in the service industry so gave her the Benefit of the doubt) Secondly we asked for double espressos with our desserts and the waitress said no I’ve cleaned the coffee machine already, essentially saying no you can’t have what you have ordered off our menu because I can’t be bothered to clean the machine again. When we asked again if they could make it for us as my family had a long way to travel the waitress simply stated that the manager had used strong chemicals in the coffee machine so it wouldn’t be possible. This was still a few hours before closing time and we hadn’t been asked if we would like any coffee before the machine was cleaned. We asked to speak to the manager and the waitress returned a few minuets later saying the manager had left even though we could clearly see that the lady she had said was the manager before was still there. They had a bad attitude and clearly were being dishonest with us.

Again extremely disappointed as the food was very good but lazy, rude and obviously dishonest left us quite shocked...

The worst Spanish food and service. First of all the food arrived in a few minutes (5 dishes) like it was pre cooked and it tastes like it. Prawns bland, potatoes half under cooked, rice with chicken and fish super dry! But still I kept it. Lamb comes (4 cutlets) 1 raw. I noticed after I cut and ate a piece so I sent that back. That Lamb cutlet was now re fired and came back burnt and dry. No one asked if everything was good either. We decided we had enough but my kids still wanted dessert so we asked for churros to come with the bill. 15 mins and no churros and no bill. So when we asked to just give us the bill so we can pay now we advised them the churros was not on the bill and we are still waiting. No sorry ONCE just defensive man who could not take any feedback. Before we even got there we called 3 hours before as it said to pre order the paella but was told they need more than a day notice! To cook a dish that can be done in 30 minutes? No mention that you need that much notice for a dish. I had high hopes for this place but it was seriously the worst Spanish food I have eaten. The waitress were friendly but the guy who came across as if was in charge was terrible and I will not be returning to this place and I recommend you don’t either. It’s not...

officially one of the best Spanish restaurants where I had to pleasure to enjoy exquisite tapas served by a great service. This restaurant is considerably small. I don't think there are other tables inside. So, reserving a table is probably a good idea. Outside there are other tables but they are obviously only available in summer. The personnel is very kind and polite. And the food is truly amazing. There's a wide choice of tapas for any taste (veg, fish and meat) and each one of them is superb. initially I had no idea what to choose but when they started arriving I understood that any choice would have been right. I didn't try the pescado (fish) tapas but I'll definitely do in my next visit. I saw a few plates being served in the other tables and they looked really good as well. Prices are ok considering the quality and that they are real Spanish products and plates. Without including wines and desserts, expect to pay at least £15/20 per person(according to how many tapas you want enjoy). Approximately each tapas is around £6/8. One last thing, I came for lunch and I had some trouble finding a car park in the surrounding streets. So, be ready to come a bit earlier to find a space. In any case, I totally...
