This is an amazing local coffee spot filled with good vibes, awesome music, and great coffee! After my first or second visit "Sol" the amazing barista with the beautiful SOUL❣️ knew my order and delivered it with a smile. My only que to her was large or small ☕️ The place is cozy and the limited seats are coveted by the locals, so having the opportunity to sit inside or out front is an added bonus! Great coffee, amazing service, and grooving music, what else do ya need to start your day off right❣️❣️☕️

Lovely coffee shop really close to the station, not the place to be sitting on your laptop (my mistake) it’s hustle and bustle and friendly customer service is great if you’re just stopping by and having a good catchup. But wouldn’t stay for long as it’s a tiny space. Definitely recommend for good coffee and quality baked goods. Had the blackberry danish was so good I forgot to take a photo!

Great coffee and delicious baked goods! Always a great selection of doughnuts and cinnamon rolls and croissants. The inside is very compact but there is some nice outside seating for when the weather is a little warmer. Also a good place for spotting dogs.

THE BEST COFFEE IV EVER HAD! Iv been a customer now for nearly a year and I don’t go anywhere else for my coffee! This coffee shop is simply amazing and the staff and owner Henry who is often there making you his delicious coffee make you feel so welcome and are so friendly. There attention to detail when making your coffee is so professional you can see why it’s always busy and buzzing inside and outside the shop. They also sell amazing fresh pastries every day of the week. Personally I can’t get enough of the blueberry muffins! The toilet is spotless at all times likewise the shop floor etc. I have never ever ever had a bad or even just an ok coffee from Shotsmiths. Every coffee iv had has been 10 out of 10! I will be a life long customer at shotsmiths and promise you once you try there coffee you will be hooked just like me and never go...

TL;DR: nice fit-out, decent takeaway coffee, shame about the vibe.

I wanted to like this place, and made a trip especially, but alas looks can be deceptive. The coffee is a good four-star (albeit, no pour over or filter options) but food options are limited to cold pastries. What knocks it is the indifferent service - at a quiet time, can a £3 banana bread not at least come with some cutlery or a napkin? Or even the option to be warmed up with a spread? And what’s stopping two staff from being able to bring coffee to a seated customer and/or attempt to develop a rapport? Sadly this results in limited...

I was hesitant to go to this place due to the reviews of bad customer service and let me tell you… they are 100% right! As I was coming in, the 2 staff members present watched me struggle with my buggy on the entrance stairs, which I guess is okay it’s not their job to help me with my buggy. However, it is their job to smile and be welcoming to all customers, which they were not. I was greeted with a mediocre “hello” and felt as though I was intruding the staff members conversation. The drink was okay, not worth the price for the size in my opinion....
