Pizzeria San Vito — Restaurant in London

Driven past this place so many times and always said to myself I need to pop in, managed to get rid of the kids for an evening so popped in and sat on the little outside bit attached to the restaurant, sun was out but even when it went in we could feel a little warmth from the amazing open oven, it wasn't overly busy which was a result, the staff were friendly and attentive and gave sone recommendations on the dishes, smiling throughout and socialable. We had some food and drinks and a couple of tequilas for the journey. The food was fresh, great smell and taste and let me tell you about the desert. Oh my days the profiteroles were on point, light and fluffy and not overfilled. All in all I will be a returning customer as its a no brainer. Fantastic...

Last night, i tried out San Vito pizzeria, which is located in Beckenham Road nearThe Spa. I was reasonably impressed! At first glance, the eating area looks small but do not be misled as they have another eating area below stairs. The service was impeccable and efficient. I went early evening (5pm)as i am told it gets busy later in the evening. I had bruschetta Napoletana (laden with cherry tomatoes) alongside a coca cola to start. This was followed by a pizza (Pancetta e Uova) and washed down with a 250 ml of house red. They also serve Moretti and Heineken. Reasonably priced, considering that the bread was all home-made. It’s a warm day, the restaurant wasn’t even half full. I asked if i could grab a table outside, Heavily pregnant with my two children. I had a buggy and managing The stairs wasn’t possible. The waitress asked can I sit inside, I said no I don’t want to, it’s too hot in here plus I have the buggy. She said otherwise if means she has to go in and out. I’ve never heard anything like it. Made to feel like a huge inconvenience. Customer service was shocking. I replied with I haven’t been turned away from A restaurant before because I’d prefer to sit outside!
