Essence of Korea — Restaurant in London

Actually ordered via deliveroo. Was looking forward to it. The tuna fsh in the sushi rolls (gim bap) was absolutely rancid. Tasted like gone off beef which in no way should it ever taste like that. I wouldn't recommend this place at all if this is what they are sending out to delivery customers. There are procedures in professional kitchens that are in place to stop this kind of thing happening. Stop hoarding bad meats and throw things out in time. My partner is sick and couldn't taste how far bad it was. Lucky i was there to ensure he wasn't food poisoned. Like, I cannot put into words how far past the use by date this fish tasted....

I dont often leave reviews but this had a 4.2 rating and i had to try and set that straight because we love korean and dont want anyone falling for this trap.

Its absolutely disgusting, we ordered in with uber eats and the best part of the food was the white rice under the other stuff.

Among other things we got the "chicken" which ended up being chicken nuggets drenched in sauce..

Nothing tasted fresh, ended up throwing most of it in the trash and ordered something...

Do not bother to order from them. Ordered using UberEats and the order never arrived. I called the restaurant and the guy was quite rude and a deceiving . I work in Restaurants and we use all delivery platforms. If you cannot fulfill an order and/or respect the time frame then just update your settings so that the customer knows that it will take more than an hour to receive their food etc. but in my case after 1h and 30 minutes...
