Incredibly disappointed with the service and food tonight. Me and my friends visited on a Wednesday night and arrived around 9.15pm. The food was average and not as good as I've had on previous visits. We was eating our meal we noticed just before 10pm the staff turned off the music and took the rubbish out past our table, whilst we were still eating. Then about 10 minutes later I believe the manager brought over the bill and said we were closing in 10 minutes. Not all of us has finished our meals and thought this was incredibly rude. Feeling so uncomfortable we asked for a take away box. The "manager" then stood over the top of us whilst we were trying to figure each share of our bill. We said we wasn't paying the service charge, as we felt we should have been informed the restaurant was closing at 10pm. The "manager" then started to argue with us and say the sign was on the door but its not, the sign is on the window three windows down from the door (see photo) and that the table had sat at been empty for 80 minutes. We hadn't made a reservation so I don't understand why this was even relevant. His attitude was appalling, we've been coming to this restaurant for many years and never seen it so empty. Now having this experience this I'm really not surprised it was empty with this poor customer service.

Ordered via uber eats 1x bbq pizza, 1x lasagna delta and 1x melanzane alla parmigiana., Pizza (as for italian restaurant) totally dissapointed, please see photo., taste was fine, no argue, but meat and other stuff over half of pizza only is a joke., also I would not expect bbq sauce to be poured over the pizza as a ketchup, this is derating it is italian restaurant., and if bbq sauce over it is making it as bbq pizza thats another joke., Lasagna was very nice, But melanzane alla parmigiana it was ironed to the bottom of the tin box as they wrapped this way, Heavy box of lasagna on top of and in the box of melanzane alla parmigiana,, adding photos., Staff should pay attention also to orders going out from restaurant, hence I rating service with one star., Atmosphere doesnt really apply, but there is no option to skip it., Doesnt meet expectation at all., Anyway we contacted Uber Eats to deal with this issue

First visit. Located near Asda Southgate. Friendly service and polite staff. Traditional decor inside and clean toilets too. As there were six of us, staff decided to move us to a more comfortable table, very accommodating. For starters, we ordered the garlic bread, fried calamari, breaded mushrooms. The kids had spaghetti bolognese £7 each, homemade lasagne £12.90, spinach and ricotta ravioli and prawn tagliatelle. We also ordered the garlic broccoli as a side which was cooked perfectly, although the garlic could have been stronger. The homemade lasagne portion didn't seem very substantial but it did taste flavoursome. The virgin mojito was lovely too. Would definitely like visit again. They even surprised my friend's daughter with a candle on her birthday cupcake and sang Happy birthday!!

Horrific service Service charge for what service? Over priced The manager has the most disgusting attitude i have ever come in my lifetime.

I wasn't greeted Me and my date was rushed to order A fight almost broke out with the manager when a couple refused to pay and ended up walking away Poor selection of dishes Cheese on my pizza was VERY rubbery!!!

The bill was brought and left on our table before we even finished eating!

The worst part of the "authentic italian experience" was when the manager wanted to argue over his miscommunication of the opening time. No one came to take our plates away or ask us if everything was ok... Then when paying the bill by card, "the manager" simply walks away without saying thank you OR giving a receipt OR even some sort of eye contact?!?!?!?! (VERY Disrespectful)

Their method of intimidation is when all staff stand together doing absolutely nothing when they are "in a rush to close on time". I had to get up walk up to them all just standing there and ask for my receipt. Thats when the manager gave me the dirtiest look maybe it was intentional to hide the service charge they did not deserve. Even though he rudley interrupted us to pay the bill before hand finishing our food. truly the WORST restaurant i have EVER been to...

I am so grateful to still have another opportunity to impress my date.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE (Pizza Express is just next door far better)

Government guidelines tell you to close at 10pm, not 9.15pm, (which is the time you basically kicked us out at)

You told us on Sunday you close at 10pm (and you still say you close at 10pm on sunday) however you "as a manager" need to realise that your sunday closing times are 9pm.... not 10pm.

I dont understand why you are now requesting me to give you my...

Iv been comming to fantozzi for years but our visit last night was very disapointing. We were a group of 10 placed in a very tight and crampy space right near the kitchen doors which wasnt the best start. I brang family and friends with very high hopes. It was not busy when we arrived but everytime we asked for the waiters attention they were rude and we felt like they were unhappy about it. The food was not to its usual standards. The steak was overcooked like rubber, the pizzas arrived later than the rest if the meals and was very undercooked and the LINGUINE ALL’ASTICE arrived which was supposed to be half a lobster with practically an empty lobster shell with absolutely no lobster in sight, very cheeky and ridiculous price of £26 for a plate of linguine. The service charge at the end came to over £38 which was a ridiculous amount for service which we did not seem justifiable and when we asked to remove this we were told we couldnt because we were a large group. I dont see how us being a large group could justify the amount of service charge when we were dumped in the corner and nobody attended us. The tables were left dirty plates and glasses and empty drinks were not collected and the table was overloaded with things that should have been cleared. If im paying a service charge of over £38 i expect the service to be justified. The manager got rude when we asked to remove this charge and we had to pay for it. Which iv never heard of service charge is not cumpulsory very greedy. I felt very embarassed to the group of people i brang here and definetly wont...
