Fish R Us - Carshalton — Restaurant in London

My wife ordered food from the website for delivery around the time I got home from work. As I pulled up and got out of my car I saw someone with a white helmet on standing a corner outside of our flats having a piss on the grass. He then finished and went to get on his delivery bike. When I got upstairs I asked the wife if our food had been delivered and she said "literally, just". We have kids and there are a lot of local kids in the area who could of seen this, disgusting! Then I thought, hang on this man touches our food for delivery and its obvious he had no where to wash his hands. We phoned the shop to let them know how their staff acted.

Upon opening our food the saveloys were solid, very overcooked. We broke them in half and it actually makes me feel sick looking at it (We have pictures). We called the shop and complained, they said they would send more saveloys to replace these and we requested that the same driver was not sent due to hygiene. Opening the rest of the food the sausage in batter was cold and pale in colour, so we decided to return it all which was agreed by the shop. 10 minutes later the same driver arrived and I went to hand him back the food we had and he kept saying "Not my problem", then turned around and left. He was extremely rude and arrogant. I phoned the shop to tell them about this and it was agreed I would bring the food back to the shop for a refund. I showed them the food upon arrival and they agreed the saveloys were not edible.

I will not use this place again, the food was horrible, the driver was disgusting and the customer service was non existent on an issue created by...

Avoid like the plague!

We ordered from them last week after they sent out leaflets with competitive pricing compared to our local. The meal itself was 'ok'. Chips were soggy but the fish was nicely cooked.

However, we noticed after that they had charged exactly £10 more than they were supposed to. When we complained, they said that their prices had gone up and the extra had to cover delivery charges. This is despite the fact that they were advertising free delivery and the price list was posted merely days before.

Used to be good this place, recently very poor, pukka pies heated in the microwave, I could do that myself, payed for large chips and arrive home to find just enough bearly for one, ribs are incinerated, used to be lovely there!! and serve up stone cold curry sauce. When i rang to complain, I spoke to a bloke who really couldn't care less, unfortunately they don't realise that successful businesses rely on repeat customers and if you under value your customers by giving poor service and poor food you will end up with no business. Well done Fish R Us you've lost another...
