So expensive and so not worth the money anymore.
It's nearly £35+ quid for me to get two double burgers, fries and a milkshake. For me alone, one intake of food.
Here's how to make their burgers-
Standard American cheese from any supermarket Mince at least 18% fat normally 500grams will do two large double burgers. Salt Black pepper Buns are standard brioche buns just with less eggs (m and s do a two pack brioche sourdough ones for £2,50) Bacon is just deep fried
Hot pan, meat in, burger/sandwich press, cook for 30 seconds until browned, flip and season one side salt and pepper, drape cheese over and let it melt naturally, onto a toasted bun, serve.
The fries are nothing special and you can get skin on fries from the supermarket and fry them in either pork or beef fat for a much better texture and experience.
That's the exact same experience without leaving the house and for over half price less than what they charge.
You're welcome.
Regretfully the response from the management has been rather disappointing, they answered some concerns but with excuses to those concerns then let the other matters unanswered which seems to suggest they're evading the truth of how high quality some of their products are and they seem totally disinterested in hearing concerns and amending them and encouraging customers to be welcomed back to try their better efforts. It's a real shame to see how quality has reached a new low for them. I...
Read moreOnce upon a time, there was a hangery customer. Don't get me wrong, these guys do a great burger (bit pricey but hey ho). Also, as we all dealing with a pandemic, know things are a bit tricky and different. But, there is a problem. One of them comes down to 5G (not the mobile network) picking Deliveroo as a provider to get their burgers out to the masses. Deliveroo gets absolutely swamped with orders that 5 Guys cannot keep up with them. This way they can both pass the buck on to who's fault it is (genius). My low rating comes from, first as mentioned above, 2nd - over 2 hours to get a burger delivered - but then the cheek comes into it. I tried phoning 5 Guys repeatedly for 36 minutes with no one answering the phone, even just to say "hey! we super busy and really sorry but as soon as it is ready it will be on it's way!" Had a look on the app, and said the driver is there waiting, sooooo? Cannot cancel the order, have had a toasted cheesy, but, our food we no longer need is still on route, apparently.
Edit:
You couldn't even predict it. Got through to 5 Guys, finally, they said it is cooling off. They told me the problem was coming from Deliveroo. 2 hours and 23 mins later our driver comes through. Asked him what's going on, and said that 5 Guys had to many orders to deliver. Brilliant! And, food cold :) These 2 companies should be...
Read moreI attended the Wimbledon branch on 1st January 2019, at roughly 10:05pm. It was clear that we were the last group to be served as they locked the doors behind us.
I was served by a lady named Ivanna, who when I ordered fries with my meal explained that they did not have any. This would of been fine, except there were chips in the chip tray, and two batches were just placed in the oil to be cooked. We pointed this out to her, she consulted with her supervisor, an elderly lady in a black shirt who reiterated to Ivanna that there were no more fries.
Next I asked for a milkshake, and again told that they had run out. Yet someone in my group managed successfully order and receive a milkshake. They got the orders wrong with my group, causing someome in my group who is muslim to recieve a hotdog with bacon on it. To say I was extremely disappointed was an understatement.
Had I known I was going to be served by incompetent, inconsistent staff who can not offer an explanation as to why items were not being served, despite their reasons clearly being invalid then I will take my money to Burger King. A shame as as someone who visits the cinema three times a week, I always pop into five guys before the showing. Certainly won't be...
