Traditional and Large Breakfasts plus coffees £11.28 all nicely done! 😋 We had the breakfast muffin another day. Good service apart from one hiccup. The muffins come with free tea of coffee but the lady didn't fetch the cups. When I asked, she was already serving another man and said that I hadn't asked for coffee which I thought I had. (Possibly didn't hear me as I was wearing a mask out of respect for the staff) She apologized to the man while saying "you didn't ask" to me. Asking the man if this was true the guy said " no he didn't ask"! She apologizes to the man a second time and fetches my cups! The man meanwhile was being served by another member of staff. On returning with my cups, she apologized to the man a third time! In fact, he'd been served quicker than me. I'd been quiet and polite the whole time so was taken aback by it. That would have been all but on recounting the story to my wife she went off to complain to the manager who apologized to me and refunded the cost of our breakfast, which was good of her. Apparently the lady offered to come and apologize too. We are loyal customers of Spoons all around the country and appreciate their hard work, good value and product. You get the odd blip every now and then so it won't stop us continuing to recommend the company.

Service without a smile! Really awful Full English Breakfast, ordered the items on the app and the girl delivered the cups to our seat and didn't even look at us and just plonked the cups down on the table...about two seconds later she returned with the full English breakfasts , however one of them had not even been given sausages, so we had to go on an expedition to find a member of staff to sort the issue out in this vast weather spoons pub, thank god for GPS! . Once we received the full English eventually, the toast was burnt, the beans were tasteless, 3 out of 4 eggs were more boiled than fried and were hard as the oak table we were dining at. The tastiest things we had was the Heinz ketchup which was beautiful, and extremely rich in tomato sauce...which was expected as it was an unopened Heinz bottle. Overall really disappointed with the breakfast. The standards have slipped drastically from the old days of weatherspoons which was a great go to place for budget friendly but tasty dishes. I would personally skip the breakfasts and just stick to their extensive drinks menu. They can go wrong with that menu...or can they?

It is what it is, a Wetherspoons pub. However as far as this one goes the food is good and, more so, its only one of two Wetherspoons pubs that I know which is clean. The other is at New Malden. Well, saying clean, use the toilets at the back of the pub because the toilets at the front get the usual urine on the floor but no pub can ever be as bad as the Wetherspoons at Tooting Broadway, to say that one is GROSS would be paying it a compliment ! Keep the Wimbledon and New Malden ones, get rid of the rest ! Update 12/05/24 : we stopped off at Wimbledon Wetherspoons for dinner after an afternoon in one of London Parks. Wish we had not. Everything was disgusting. The fish was horrible and far too oily. The two pizzas were both burnt on one side and the chicken wings looked really bad. Never have Wetherspoons food been this bad. The chef on duty needs to pull their finger out and manage the cooking and food better. The chicken wings particularly should never have left the kitchen !

My colleagues and I came to The Wibbas Down Inn for our Christmas work drinks (I for the first time) and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was much larger than I had anticipated but was warm and had a great atmosphere. The bar staff were totally on point with the service. They were fluid with the service; its like they were in sync with everything. My drinks (rum punch pitchers) were well balanced (alcohol, mixer and ice ratio); and were really great with the orders and kept their cool when we asked for less of ice. Great hot and tasty food was flowing through from the kitchen with ease, arriving in perfect time at my table hot. I ordered the 10 wings with dips and the prawns with sweet chilli sauce. Those sexy wings were hot and crunchy and spicy with flavour and my colleagues and I devoured everything. I am impressed with the order to table time considering it were busy! The prawns with the sweet chilli sauce were delish and that 3 dishes offer for £10 is brilliant. We ordered the wings and prawns dishes I think 3 or 4 times, totally worth it. It was just what we needed!! The table staff were attentive. My table was cleared with a smile and speed.

Shout out to Daija the lovely bartender and Harry the waiter. Brilliant service with a smile. I'll be back. Thanks to the security guards for being great this evening. I felt I received great customer service from everyone's at this establishment.

One of the best Wetherspoons I've been to this year!

Keep up the good work. You work hard and what you do is valued and remembered by your patrons. 😁

Ordered a main and dessert at the same time to save two trips up to the bar as it was busy. Requested for dessert to be made after, otherwise the ice cream would melt. When the food arrived they still brought out the dessert with main so I told the waitress that it can't be eaten yet as the room is hot and ice cream looked already melted. Finished the main and asked a waiter that was I ready for dessert now. 15 mins later asked a different waiter as was still waiting. After 30 mins asked another waiter who was adamant that because I had sent the dessert back that the dessert was back of the queue even though I'd asked 2 waiters previously to get it ready. Pub was at peak time but even so considering it was ordered technically over an hour ago it should be out on standby. 3rd waiter was rude and had no customer empathy that this waiting time is not acceptable. Quick to demand from me on the spot do i want a refund or wait another 30 mins??!! for the pudding. I asked him to again check with the kitchen which he did with reluctance. Noticed that another customer had an issue with their food and the same rude waiter had a debate with the customer. Think this person needs to go on a customer service course. It's not our fault if they can't cope with busy periods in the pub. Usually enjoy the experience at this location but today was...
