We entered Franco Manca Wimbledon Yesterday evening for the first time.

We walked up to the front door where we saw a delivery driver arguing with one of the staff. We were waiting a while for the staff to acknowledge us. When we were acknowledged, it seems like we were rushed to our table and also we were not led to a table rather pointed and told to sit down anywhere. It took a while for anyone to take our order. After we had ordered, we were offered tap water by the staff member. Our wine arrived and was served in the tap water glasses, we were not given any wine glass for our wine. Our food came not long after within a reasonable time however there was no tap water still. We then asked another staff member if we can get some garlic sauce and some tap water. The garlic sauce came however again there was no tap water shown. At this point we sucked it up and ate our pizzas which were very nice. We had finished our meals and then we were talking and then after a long time our plates were getting cleared by the same staff member who delivered our food. We were offered anything else which we declined and just asked for the bill. The staff member said no problem I’ll be back in a couple of minutes. We waited and waited again (which seemed to be the norm on our visit). We were growing inpatient trying to get someone’s attention, it was at this point we felt like we were being ignored. Finally we got another staff member’s attention and asked for the bill again. After waiting (AGAIN) we finally got the bill, this was however after the staff member did a million and one different things. It is very unfortunate that I am having to write this review and giving one star as the food served was great and tasty. However it felt like we were just part of the ‘factory line’ so to speak and not treated like actual customers. We felt ignored and left the restaurant unhappy. I hope this review goes to the right people and the service improves as it is...

Do not order from this restaurant spend £35 on two pizzas and a garlic bread they arrived and all the food was stone cold Immediately rang up and asked them to collect them and give me some hot pizzas they refused and tried blaming Uber eats Ive worked in the food industry before you could tell the food was sat around for 30 minutes before being sent for delivery the cheese and toppings were rock hard it was like holding a frisbee tried explaining to the staff that you wouldn't feed your kids stone cold food so why would I ? I had to order from another restaurant the manager said he would try resolve this for me the next day but ultimately blamed Uber eats for doing multiple deliveries even though I watched the driver on the tracker come from the restaurant straight to me in about ten minutes so the food was sent out cold ! Tried to resolve with manager but ultimately told me to leave a bad review and that he doesn't care so here it is mate it's nice to see you care about your customers who have families and are willing to send out poor quality stone cold food for top dollar ! I hope this puts of enough people do not order food from here you will be massively disappointed and...

Came to Wimbledon restaurant to grab a free pizza with the loyalty card. The waiter was very polite but said he can't give me a pizza to take-away and called the manager to speak to me. The manager came and made me feel like a criminal! First of all, she said that she wont be able to give me the pizza for take-away, although I didnt have any problems with take-away in other restaurants. When I said that Im sure it says somewhere in terms & conditions that take-away is possible she then said that my loyalty card is not good enough, that something is missing or that signatures are not good enough I dont know, she wasnt very clear. I asked how is it my fault? I just present the loyalty card to the staff, what they put on it is not my concern. After that she said she wont accept it but she will make an exception! She will make an exception and will give me a pizza for free this time. Such an embarrassment. Why give your customers loyalty card and then treating them like criminals afterwards? The pizza was undercooked and small as well, as if she went and told the chef to make the pizza as miserable as possible. Do not recommend the...

A sourdough pizza franchise sounded like a crazy and risky idea when the first restaurant opened in 2008 in Brixton Market. Will the general public get and appreciate the difference between sourdough and non-sourdough? Are there sufficient pizzaiolo chefs in the UK to cope with the increasing demand? Is sourdough, a dough that can be so different from one restaurant to another, a homogenous product for a nationwide franchise? These are probably questions that Giuseppe, the founder of the pizza empire, wondered himself by 2008. Franco Manca is a family-friendly restaurant with delicious pizzas, although the dough, I reckon, is a bit chewy and sometimes it comes a bit burnt. I don't go very often because of gluten intolerance. Still, I love this little Italian corner available for everyone who wants to enjoy a cheeky pizza treat on a gloomy and rainy day.

This neighborhood pizzeria offers reliable pies with thoughtful vegan options, making it a convenient choice for plant-based diners. The pizzas are well-made crusts are crisp, toppings balanced but they lack that extra spark to make them memorable amid London's competitive scene.A key heads-up: slices aren't pre-cut, so you'll need to divide them yourself at the table. The garlic bread was a letdown: essentially a small pizza topped with scant garlic slivers, offering minimal flavor or that signature pungent aroma.Verdict: Dependable for casual vegan-friendly eats, but not a destination spot. 3.5/5 good baseline, though the garlic bread needs a serious upgrade.

We went during the Eat Out To Help Out scheme in August and the restaurant was very popular! It was great that they had their virtual queuing system as it meant we could go do something else whilst waiting rather than stand in the rain - I wish more places would do this! Once we were in, we received friendly and efficient service. There were quite a lot of tables in there but thankfully they were separated by plastic sheets to help protect us all. The pizzas and starters were all pretty tasty. The aubergine parmigiana was slightly disappointing as it lacked flavour, but overall we had a good visit and would return in the future.
