I WAS a regular customer here for years, but after my recent experience, I won’t be returning.
I ordered a large chicken shish wrap, food was decent, but I was overcharged £4 extra for basic salad toppings like onions, chillis, and lettuce. No extra meat, no special request. There was no sign, no warning, no mention of any charge for what has always been included.
I called to raise this, only for the worker to hang up as soon as he recognised my voice - a shocking lack of professionalism and respect, especially toward a loyal customer.
Unless your reply includes a genuine apology, acknowledgment that this was unfair, and clear steps to change it or compensate for it, please don’t bother responding with a generic excuse. This isn’t about £4 — it’s about principle. You’re charging more on an already large-priced item for small amounts of basic salad that cost next to nothing. If you can’t offer fairness and transparency, then at least offer decent customer service.
Very disappointed and I’ll be taking my loyalty elsewhere, ruined this place for me and for anyone who reads this review...
Read moreHaving had the privilege of living within walking distance, for many years, this place continues to improve the appearance yet maintains delicious food (cooked over a real, proper coal grill).
It's also good for those moments, when you realise you are now nocturnal and need quality food at 3am!
Update 9 years later: This place is still, to this day, consistently good. Service is top notch, and the food is quality (I was even asked if I wanted a brioche or seeded bun, wasn't expecting the choice!)
Since almost a decade since my last review, I unfortunately developed some physical health conditions concerning my gut, and so I am very sensitive to any shortcuts, bad meat, etc. I can comfortably say I had absolutely zero gut issues after eating the burger. It's just what I needed! Even more reason to be eating here more often, hopefully! (I would have included a picture in my review, however it was all eaten before I reached home if I'm honest).
Great prices too. Consider calling them to make an order, as Just Eat charge their own...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of trying one of the best kebabs I’ve ever tasted. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, grilled to absolute perfection. Each bite was packed with rich, smoky flavor that clearly came from high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. The seasoning was spot on — balanced and aromatic, enhancing the natural taste of the meat without overpowering it.
What truly stood out was the texture — crispy on the outside, yet soft and succulent on the inside. It was served with freshly baked flatbread, grilled vegetables, and a side of tangy yogurt sauce that perfectly complemented the dish.
If you’re a fan of authentic, mouthwatering kebabs, this is definitely one you shouldn’t miss. An unforgettable experience for...
