Deeply Disappointed. Would NEVER Recommend.

I hosted a milestone celebration at this venue and regret to say the experience was far below the standard any paying customer should expect. Despite careful planning and clear communication well in advance, the service, professionalism, and overall management of the event were appalling.

From the outset, the wait staff appeared disinterested and unhelpful. Repeated requests to begin food service were ignored or delayed, and the team seemed far more concerned with operating on their own schedule than supporting the needs of the event. Many of our guests left before the main course was even served due to severe time mismanagement. Not only did this reflect poorly on the event itself, but it also showed a complete lack of respect for both the hosts and the attendees.

When I arrived at the venue to set up, I was met with leftover decorations and mess from the previous night’s event, which had not been cleared. I was forced to wait 30 to 45 minutes before I could begin my own setup — valuable time wasted. Upon requesting this be addressed, I was told to simply “include it with your own décor,” despite having made it explicitly clear in advance that I would be providing all decorations myself. This was not only unprofessional, it was dismissive and incredibly frustrating.

Throughout the evening, the owner displayed highly inappropriate behaviour, including being visibly intoxicated from early afternoon until the end of the event. At one point, he even requested full payment from my father — who was not involved in any of the planning — before the main course had even been served, bypassing both myself and my mother who had organised everything. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and deeply disrespectful.

To add insult to injury, we were charged full price per head for a two-year-old child, who barely ate anything — a clear demonstration of this venue’s prioritisation of profit over basic fairness or...

So basically we booked basement hall for only girls for my sisters birthday, agreed on everything payment and all basement gona be to ourselves .!! But when we got there owner said he can give spare tables to other families ,we totally refused obviously it was only girls party how can we allow strangers men there when everything was explained while booking..!! Agreed on different amount while booking but owner was fully drunk later and made us pay 200£ extra and this guy can not talk without touching ladies either its staff or customer..!! He definitely needs to learn how to run a business..!!he said we need to leave 11 but when we left upstairs restaurant was still full..I’ve spent 15 years of my life in this country never experienced anything like this…he doesn’t know how to keep his word.. !!…about food..!! starter was good but main course was awful..i had only two bites of main course tbh..!! Paneer taste like rubber..!!

I thought give it a try because starter was nice last time..so I ordered starter..1 item was missing i called them whoever answered the phone have no idea wt to say she give ph ton someone else and he has no idea..he said to me 😹make one more order and we will send ur item with it..like really..? How unprofessional u want me to spend another 4£ for delivery when it was ur mistake..than finall he said send me ur address we will send wtever was missing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 one hour massage still not delivered..and samosa was off like it was made a week ago had to put in the bin😡😡😡😡 now u guys wait for council/ food hygiene 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I’m no gona take that...

TERRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE. I gave one star but if i could i would give then any because they dont deserve even one!

We ordered a chicken tandoori and the sizzler it came in spelt like fish the moment it came to our table. The chicken tasted old and stale like it was a few days old. We called the owner over and told him, and he was adamant that it was not stale and it was fresh, he claimed that he ate it in the morning and that it was fine, but all four of my family members said the same thing. The owner did not do anything about it, he just walked away unbothered. Then we went to the front and gave it to him because we could not keep it on our table and he had to do something about it. He refused to do anything about it and took our dish away. When it came to pay we went and asked if we could pay by card but the staff claimed that the card machine was not working and we had to pay by cash. We said that we dont have any cash on us and suddenly the owner said the card machine was working again (all for a 10p fee). The owner charged us full price for the stale, off tandoori chicken that we did not even eat. We asked why we where being charged full price and he said that we chose to eat there ( we didnt expect that kind of quality), he started getting very agressive and and refused to give us any discount or even an apology, telling us to pay and go and never return. We paid £32 for nothing and it just spoiled our day, daylight robbery!

Im surprised there still in business and no one is doing anything about it. Do not recommend at all, stay away from this horrendous...
