I’ve had great food from here before but tonight was very average. Salt and pepper king prawns were sad, over battered, not very “king” prawns (very much freezer to fryer jobs) accompanied by tired dried chilli slices, spring onions and raw onion slices. Same went for the S&P tofu which was over cooked and leathery IMO. Thank goodness I splashed out on a container of very dull curry sauce and some (free) chilli oil (the highlight) to make the egg fried rice vaguely tasty. Paid for some prawn crackers but got some free ones anyway (why?). Perhaps I shouldn’t have rocked up half an hour before closing (9.45pm) but that’s no way to win customers over - serving up shabby food just because you’re half way...
Read moreThe Crispy Aromatic Duck was inedible—the smell alone was so off-putting that I couldn’t even open the bag, as it seemed spoiled. The pancakes provided were not fresh but instead packaged in plastic and appeared to have been microwaved.
I also ordered an Iced Passion Fruit Tea with Peach Popping Pearls and Fruit Bits, yet I received tapioca and jelly, which I did not request and do not like.
The Egg Fried Rice was bland, and the eggs were clumped together, requiring separation before eating. The taste was unpleasant, and I ultimately had to stop eating it to avoid making myself sick.

The beef was not tender enough and was not even marinated (it had a bit if sauce before which made the soup tastes really good). The noodle was overcooked and overall, it was bland. 2 star for the food...
