Read moreI usually have a good experience at Dunns and baked goods are great quality. This morning, I was served by a female shop assistant who exclaimed 'Oh my God!', out of frustration, after I asked her to tell me which type of rolls they had. The music was a bit loud so perhaps we couldn't hear each other or communicate properly. I take into account that we are all human beings, we can feel frustrated or even be condescending at times, I don't expect to be liked or for everything to be sugarcoated when I buy a tune roll, but to reply with "oh my god!" out loud, shows poor manners.. There was no queue in the shop and two shops assistants available, so I do not see the need for being so frustrated. I genuinely wanted to know my options. It takes the same time to be condescending saying oh my god!", than to respond " poppy, sesame and plain" at my question. She eventually told me the options I had, but she did it unwillingly and was uncooperative. Apologies for this review, but I don' t usually get treated this way when I go into a shop, I am not a difficult, or demanding customer neither I have a history of leaving bad reviews. I genuinely feel the way she behaved was...
Read moreI have been buying cakes for over 30 years from Dunn's! but the other day, I walked into muswell Hill branch, one assistant was serving a customer, their were two other staff in front of me, not even asking if I want to be served, they were just chatting amongst themselves! What happened to customer service where the customer comes first!!!! Then I had to ask if you could serve me, she did, but still chatting to other staff, then when she took money from me, I asked her that she loves to chat instead of serving customers! Then she just stood there, not giving me the cake I had purchased. She saying "I started this, so let's finish it! What an absolutely joke!!!! No more customer care! how things have changed so much!!!!!! I just wanted to purchase a cake and go, instead of waiting while a couple of staff would rather have a chat, then see a...
