Green Street Branch. 10.8.2020. Family of 4. I called to asked if they participate in Eat Out to Help Out - YES. Social Distancing - NO NO NO. My first visit. Had to que up, not for long. Disabled toilet - Yes Car Parking - NO, Shaftesbury Car Park pay and display... Temperature check was being conducted but not to everyone I had witnessed. The service is somewhat copying of Nandos with a twist. NO table service.
There was completely NO NO NO social distancing. They have placed signs up. The place was full and people were placed so close to one another got very uncomfortable alot quickly. We received our food and decided to leave hence after as it was no maintained social distancing and baby and toddler around too. This has to be addressed. The ques are not also observing social distancing neither and the staff not really making a stance on that factor after stating this too. I had called prior to attending if this is social distancing tables... I was told yes. We were sat at a table were all of a sudden bunch of people were sat all and every available table. Health Safety is not really adhered here in this sence.
Also you have table house sauces but when the tables are being cleaned the sauces bottle are not being cleaned observed.
Not so baby friendly for parents. Though they're are high chairs available. Not much space to place buggy if you have very young ones.
Food tasted really great, I must say and it was really hot weather today and ordered Mega Platter. The wait was quite a bit but they were busy. Staff are hospitable and welcoming. We did enjoy our meal. However the size of chips that was supposed to be large came in medium. Sauces were nice once wiped to use.
The food comes to you. They take you to your seat and tell you the table number. You must then go and place your order at tills. But I also observed some of the staff themselves do not now which table is which as there is NO marking to tell the host where the food is to be served.
Again gave a 3 due to safety concerns not taking seriously enough. I love food and we really did enjoy the meal until you completely surrounded us with tables of customers and not maintaining social distancing. Every table were very close to another. Toilet facilities available.
I would like to visit again in the future if this is rectified. Staff were lovely.

Read moreThis is the second time I have ate at this particular branch of Franzos. My experiences at the Ilford branch is so much better. It is not suprising to say that portions have been reduced. Previously I spent around £25 and was able to order a single platter, extra chips, portion of wings (5) and 2 drinks. This time round (May 2022) the same amount of spending could not budget in wings. The service is somewhat help yourself. Not impolite. But not overly welcoming if I may say. My only and and serious concern on this visit that propelled me to actually make a review; was the size of the portion of spicy rice at a hefty price of £2.65. I felt insulted. So much that I did not complain or enquire why. I have included pictures for your perusal. I sized it up against a can of drink just to indicate how SMALL it really was. Wasn't great by the way. Especially not for the price I was charged; considering how cheap a bowl of rice normally is with some ordinary spices and food colouring/ tumeric. If they do read these reviews I hope they give a BOWL OF RICE rather than serving in a tiny bone plate or cigarette butt placer. For everyone else AVOID PAYING SO MUCH FOR SPICY RICE. The chicken on ther hand felt a little overcooked or too precooked. It was hard. And tasted reheated. All in all. My first experience wasn't so bad which is why I went a second time. But I will refrain from visiting this Green Street branch in favour of the Ilford one. Can't smear a whole brand over one stingy branch or poor practices from a...
Read moreI ordered 6 chicken tikka meals today and did an over the phone order placed by Noor. She told me it will take 25-30 mins and so I went to the green street branch half an hour later. I waited for an extra half an hour, which in total took one hour to complete my order. Anyway, when I opened the burgers, it came to my realisation that my order was wrong! I was given piri piri chicken burgers instead! I called the store and spoke to the manager Shahbaz, who blatantly said it was not a fault of his. He also insisted Noor was a senior employee. If she was a senior employee how did she make this mistake? I’ve come from a far place and this is how you treat your customers? When I was going to order my food, Noor was speaking to someone else as well before taking my order, her mind was clearly somewhere else! This is absolutely ridiculous and a rubbish customer service, the manager refused to help us out in any way as I had not ordered this. Maybe you shouldn’t employ individuals with broken English to avoid these problems! Also, when I asked for a refund or some replacement, Shahbaz said if it was two or three burgers he would have done so, but cause I have 6 that’s too much. What the hell is that all about? Money doesn’t grow on trees! Easy for some to speak! A waste of my hard earned money and my petrol for food that was not even what I ordered. Absolutely appalling and sad! Man up Franzos, you really need better customer service and learn from other...
