SLOW SERVICE FOR COFFEE TAKEAWAYS

I used to come here quite a bit for brunch when it first opened and liked the food and the friendly service.

But l’ve been a few times recently for takeaway coffee where I’ve given my order and asked if it’s ok that I wait outside (with a double buggy). My order has then taken a while to arrive and people who ordered after me get their coffees before me. I’ve then had to remind them of my order and I’ve had an apology each time but the fact this has happened the last few times I’ve been makes me think that I should go elsewhere for a quick takeaway coffee! Great place, with a tamed, yet comforting interior. I went there for brunch and had a delicious granola bowl whilst getting some work done.

They play music, but it's at just the right volume that you can enjoy it if you like, but it won't disrupt any conversations.

Their menu was a delight, simple and efficient. I didn't need a PhD to find what I wanted and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My server made short, but polite conversation when bringing my food and left just as quickly which didn't interrupt my work.

Funkily decorated, friendly staff but food was just above better than average. Allpress Coffee was decidedly ordinary unfortunately (milk overheated, coffee a little bitter). Had a lovely space outside with a huge bear to greet you if you like that sort of thing!! It is a great environment to sit in for a little while and many were relaxing or working on their laptops. I was impressed they were vegetarian friendly on toasting sandwiches - unfortunately isn't a given!
