Galao it is like a 2nd home for me. I live just around the corner and it is really great.I’m a coffee lover and I know coffee really well. The taste it is rich and flavored tasting like actual coffee.It is precise on how it is made, the milk it is made smoothly which gives that final hit. I was a barista myself.

Saw the review that the pricing it is high.I believe it is not as you don’t drink&pay for an average coffee from any local breakfast shop that use a third world country coffee machine

.It is a place that puts emphasis on hot drinks and other beverages.Great smoothies, juices and so on.The staff always pleasant, enthusiastic and willing to help.The owner very embracing&welcoming.I have been going around since they have opened. Always such a great vibe, and I always feel good after I step out.It has it’s unique atmosphere and vibe.Sandwiches always fresh, cakes are delicious. Our community loves them that’s for sure. Many of us are happy. I would rather pay £0.60 more for an actual good coffee that challenges my taste buds than £3.60 for a coffee that has no taste, bubbly milk or burned. You also have to think that you are paying for an experience. In my point of view it does matter from where and from whom you are buying…It does matter how you start your morning…Most of us start with a coffee…Keep doing what you are doing guys…High value will always appreciate...

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Galao Café in Forest Hill, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, the warmth and friendliness of the staff made me feel right at home.

They always go above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and made the entire experience unforgettable. And then there’s Jennifer, the star behind the coffee bar! She not only crafts the best coffee I’ve ever tasted but is also a true coffee artist. Her creations are as beautiful as they are delicious, and it’s clear she takes immense pride in her work.

If you measure a coffee shop based on the quality of their coffee and food, you are in for a treat. From the perfect latte to thirst-quenching juices and thick, delicious sandwiches, you can't go wrong. All are clearly made with love; you only have to watch the process and taste the outcomes to know this.

For me, as someone who works for themselves, I measure where I spend my time and money on one thing only: the people. From 7am to last orders, the team beams as soon as you walk in and makes you feel welcome no matter how short or long you stay. As I work, the only thing that distracts me is watching how they take care of their regulars and play a vital role in the community.

I cannot recommend Galao enough. We really do need to keep supporting small businesses, and no one deserves that support as much as these...
