Best restaurant experience in a long time! Excellent food, great service everything was very well cooked and fresh. Service was prompt and our waiter (Niko) was very knowledgeable and polite helping us to order for our party and making personalised suggestions taking the time to explain the composition of unfamiliar dishes. Mixed grill was excellent value (£20 per head) and came with a little bit of everything from the grill menu. The souvlaki was perfectly cooked and seasoned with just the right amount of oregano complimented beautifully by fresh pita and tzatziki (the best souvlaki I've had), lamb chops and pork all grilled to perfection as well. Greek sausage was tender and again grilled to perfection seasoned with just the right amount of herbs. The starter was great and our waiter helped us to pick something that would not spoil our appetite. Great selection of dips and hot/cold meze on offer but the mixed cheese dip was incredibly moreish. Hummus was smooth and came topped with an incredibly flavourful mix of spices that imparted a rich smoky flavour it was in a different league to the grainy pre-made stuff I've been served elsewhere. Tzatziki was creamy and packed full of cucumber and herbs. A wide range of wines and beers on offer with some excellent authentic greek wines on the menu (all from small artisanal producers and well curated) house red was full bodied and paired well with the food on offer and very reasonably priced! The gent serving us talked us through the wine list and told us more about the wine before serving which really enhanced our experience. There was a wide variety of desserts on offer including a fantastic homemade mixed berry cheesecake and portokalopita (all of which were fantastic) but the baklava cheesecake was phenomenal! We were offered a digestif at the end of the meal (mastika) and our waiter kindly explained the story behind it. Our waiter was very friendly and explained everything patiently anid calmly, checking in at regular intervals to make sure that all of our needs were met. Atmosphere was fantastic, welcoming , relaxed and very homely. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning soon

I'm busy and YOU are also very busy! However, I am going to take some time to write and share this review with you... For the sake of clarity, I will also tell you that I work for a prestigious supplier to the hospitality industry here in London. I have worked in this industry long enough to know when a restaurant is worthy of a glowing review. This is one of those reviews! Geusi is one of my clients (I will not reveal who I work for as the purpose of this recommendation is NOT self promotion) and today I dropped by. Geusi Greek Authentic Cuisine is a family run restaurant specialised in Hellenic cuisine. Niko & his family run this newly founded lil' establishment with the aid of an insanely skilled Head Chef (Yorgos). What do I know about Greek food? Well, for the past 14 years I've been lucky enough to spend my summers in Crete. My partner's family built a lovely home overlooking Souda Bay in Chania. I do three things when I'm there: I scuba dive, I ride a motorcycle all over the island...and I eat. With all of that out of the way, I can safely tell you that everything I sampled today blew my mind. I literally closed my eyes as I was eating...I teleported to Greece! The marinated octopus starter was super tender, the prawns saganaki melted in my mouth, the Tzatziki was superbly balanced and the Kalamarakia (made with baby squid) was deliciously crispy. The last thing I was treated to was Feta with Meli (feta enveloped in a light parcel of filo pastry). It's a starter but I handled it like a dessert today! Delicious. I didn't have to write any of this and I hope, for your sake, that if you live in Bromley (West Wickham) you must try this place. I had to travel for about an hour today for a "courtesy visit"...I wish Geusi was closer to where I live, because my new favourite restaurant is in your neighborhood. Just go! Thank me later.

At the moment my wife and I are meant to be in Spain but she's not that well and we are not! Feeling slightly sorry for ourselves we decided to try a newish Greek restaurant local to us. We were not disappointed. The staff are superb and extremely knowledgeable in their craft. Nico, the owner, took time out to chat to us and explain his choice of wines, as I'm more knowledgeable with regards to other wines and Cypriot wines. The atmosphere in this cosy restaurant, is truly Greek. In other words, relaxing and homely, so you are already half way there in regards to your evening enjoyment and the food hasn't even arrived yet. The Hummus had a lovely texture, and the Pitta and Stuffed Vine Leaves accompanied it beautifully. Nico's advise on our choice of red wine matched the food extremely well. My wife had the Chicken Kebab, chips and salad, which she enjoyed. There was plenty of it and I naturally helped her at the end. I had no choice 😁 I had the Octopus, chips and salad. The Octopus was both large, a tentacle, and divine to the taste buds. We shared a Baklava, too which you can't go wrong with. We were also given a taster of their Stuffed Aubergine dish, which my wife then had to order a dish of it to take home. She also had no choice in the matter😆 It was that tasty. If you want to experience a nice, cosy, well fed and happy evening out, with a table service, in what I would call old school or How It Should Be Done... Then I suggest you give this charming restaurant a try. The only area they could improve on is their salad. It needs a bit more in it. A bit of "je ne sais quoi." We most certainly will be going back to support this wonderful business.
