Topolino Restaurant — Restaurant in London

I made a purchase for Uber Eats, and the food never arrives, they said they would deliver at 9:05 pm and I'm giving my feedback, now at 11:00 pm and I still haven't received any response from the restaurant, nor from the uber eats. They didn't finalize my purchase and with that I can't claim at uber eats to get my money back. A neglect with their customers, even more so at that time when everyone asks us to help restaurants and just look at what you get in return. I don't recommend this restaurant to any friends... Look at the photo below ... I will only be able to resolve with uber when the restaurant finalizes the order ... Disappointed with the attitude of this restaurant garbage...

Update of the fact: the restaurant finalized the purchase without my having received my food and until now we have not received a call from the restaurant, much less from the delivery man who is hired by the restaurant. I already complained at the uber and tomorrow I will be going to make the complaint personally at the restaurant. Because I want my money back and I want to know who the thief is who says he delivered and didn't deliver anything. Now it's midnight....

A little bit disappointing, as me and my family have been regular customers here over the years.

First the good: delicious fresh pasta for both me and my partner's mains, both with well made sauce. The gambarini pasta had five large prawns and my seafood pasta had generous portions of clams, prawns and mussels.

Everything was very well presented.

The bad: For the starters, I had mackerel paté with smoked salmon on crostini. Very small, though admittedly tasty, serving of mackerel paté (especially in light of the fact mackerel isn't an expensive fish).

My partner opted for the fishcakes which were £9 and didn't meet expectations - overcooked, heavy on a very chewy batter. These were a real let down.

Service was friendly and helpful but we weren't offered parmesan with our pasta dishes which was a bit of a shame.

For dessert we went for the gelato - vanilla and chocolate were both good but the hazelnut had a lot of ice chips in it, so I suspect it had thawed and been refrozen.

Overall not terrible and not overpriced, but a bit of a disappointment since we both expected something a bit above and beyond the typical chain Italian restaurant, but the latter was what we...

Disappointing Italian Eatery - best avoided!

Ordered the Steak Diane, big mistake! Requested medium rare but received a well done (medium well at best) slab of grey gristle instead. The meat was inedible with an unpleasant odour that smelt as if it was off. I thought that the meat may have been cooked several hours or even a day before and reheated. The accompanying vegetables of carrots and runner beans were over cooked and soggy - sadly not an al dente morsel in sight and potatoes tasted as if cooked in old oil - very unpleasant dish on every level - more like a school dinner from a bygone era. Waiting staff tried to convince me that meat was cooked to medium rare (rather pointless comments from the male waiter followed about the colour being typical for medium rare - clearly a training need identified there).
