GJ's Pub — Restaurant in London

Went looking for a pub last night (a week night) due to the weather knocking out most locals pubs satellites around my area it seems. I wouldn't call it a sports bar as I think there were only a handful of us watching the game (not a big one). Had a couple of pints of Guinness and a burger (great burger!) bar staff were friendly and the drinks were reasonably priced. What more can I say....

The menu claimed all the food was locally sourced. Unless they meant locally sourced at the local Iceland this was a lie. The nacho dips looked like them came out of a squeeze bottle. The guacamole in particular was just green sludge which tasted like cream. Our pizza tasted like a cheap frozen pizza which they put some overly dried ham on top of. Would never go again,...

Nice little pub for watching sport. Have a great outside section where they have spitbraais on Saturdays. The food is pretty standard pub fair with a slight South African twist as they have boerewors and bunnychows. They run some great drinks specials for the super 15 rugby on Saturdays with great service from the barmen, making for a fun...
