A Disappointing Decline at Five Guys Wandsworth My recent visit to the Five Guys Wandsworth outlet today at approximately 1:30 PM was a stark and disappointing departure from previous positive experiences. Despite numerous more affordable and less time-consuming options on the ground floor, I chose Five Guys, driven by past satisfaction with this particular branch. Unfortunately, that trust was severely misplaced. Upon receiving my order, it was immediately clear something was amiss. The bun was noticeably cold to the touch, and the cheese, rather than being melted as one would expect from a freshly prepared burger, was merely limp from the residual heat of the wrapping. The resulting bite was so unappetizing that I promptly returned it. When I presented the burger and requested that staff feel the cold bun, my request was initially refused under the guise of "health and safety" ā a rather transparent smokescreen. After some flimsy excuses, a staff member finally acknowledged the issue, stating it was "cold from the outside but not from inside," an admission of fault, however partial. He deliberately protracted the process, serving other customers ahead of me, all while knowing I was pressed for time. His condescending offer of his name, after I mentioned my awareness of corporate procedures, felt like a deliberate act of petty obstruction rather than a genuine attempt at resolution. This entire experience resulted in wasted time, a thoroughly unpleasant encounter, and ultimately, forced me to seek a takeaway elsewhere. While I've had genuinely great experiences at this specific branch in the past, the egregious service and utterly incompetent complaint handling I encountered today mean I will unfortunately...

It took long because the supervisor assembled it a second time but wrong, he threw away the first one because it had the right ingredients but was not layed up straight. It came with no grilled peppers the cheese wasn't grilled to melt it just stuck to it. Not enough grilled onions and the lettuce was wet and barely seen
My girlfriends daughter works at GBK She asked me 'how can you say you like Five Guys when they take so long and don't get the order right?' I just looked at her and said 'I don't know, I just don't know' For someone who used to work at Five Guys this moment stuck with me, the burger was not layed up to Five Guys Standards. The supervisor that night must be held accountable for the loss of one star, being stingy with toppings on an £8.50...
