The glasshouse is back with a bang!! A brand new Astro turfed garden area new gazebos and the truly wonderful staff(some new faces excellent) A revamped menu too . We had an old favourite the haddock and Chips. A lovely large piece of fish in a gorgeous crisp light batter, chips were more than plentiful a lovely fresh homemade mushy peas and a delightful fresh made tartar sauce. It was delicious a good good value for money. We also had for a vegetarian offer a lovely concoction of halloumi chips and salad leaves and sun dried tomatoes with a chef inspired Humous and fresh baked Focaccia bread thoroughly enjoyed and fresh. Sitting in the warm sun with our ice cold beers and wine was a joy. The governor Lucy is a pocket rocket and leads by example her staff back her up by there responses. A very helpful bunch in all very polite and above all helpful, if you have any problems using the app for ordering the staff are all knowledgeable in that department. They adhere strictly to the Covid rules here so you will be treated very well the best Pub in new Malden by a distance. Oh the Sunday roasts are to die for as well !! You may have a preirmagined theory if this pub from past times forget that now, give it a try and I’m sure you’ll go back like I have top notch!!!

A good beer selection, good starters. Haddock and chips were solid for the price. Wife had vegetation parcel which was nice but the veg were undercooked (potatoes, cabbage) or overcooked (beans, Yorkshire pudding). The pork belly had a solid gravy, potatoes were on point but everything else was overcooked. Most disappointing thing was the pork belly, 2x rings of meat that were less than 1cm thick. They could not have weighed Eeah more than 50-70grams in total. To pay £15 for less than 100g of protein is pretty poor. Provided feedback to manager and waiter, whilst they accepted the feedback and said they would pass to the chef and that was it. Really poor. I would completely avoid. Last time we visit. Not great value unfortunately for roast dinners, recommendations is to really stay away. Sad as it has a lovely location and outdoor bit

I really enjoyed my time at this spot, especially because of the lovely outdoor garden - with a relaxing vibe and plenty of greenery that made it a great place to unwind. The food was good overall, but what really caught my attention were the "reverse nachos." It’s definitely a creative twist on a classic, and while they were tasty, I still prefer traditional nachos. That said, it’s a cool and fun idea that’s worth trying if you’re into experimenting with new dishes. All in all, the outdoor setting made the experience even better, and the food is worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for something a bit different!

My friend and I visited 2 weeks ago and were pleasantly surprised at the service we received. I had a baby with me and my friend had her two children one who has special needs with us. Due to the lack of understanding and accommodation she is used to receiving with her child it can be a very stressful and anxious situation going in to a new and also public environment for my friend however we were greeted and catered to by a lovely man called Harry who honestly went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience, so much so we intend to go back, baby and children included this weekend. Covid restrictions were taken seriously, food was delicious, the outdoor space was absolutely fabulous and great for my friends child who can easily suffer sensory over load and is not keen on lots of noise. It rained and the staff all came to our rescue to help us in with our food and buggies. We had the most positive experience we could have possibly had we could not have imagined it better, the clientele seem decent too so as a local for me I will be popping...

Went twice now in the evenings with some other women for drinks. The last time we were there the table we found was never cleared so we had to bring the dirty dishes to the bar ourselves. Also, the immediate impression upon entry was a bit of an unpleasant smell which was off-putting and bothered another women we were with. But both of these things could be just chance so didn’t trouble me too badly. Sadly though they don’t have much for beer selection; Guinness is the only option if you want something darker than a lager basically. It is a bit loud as well (but it’s a pub).

But the good news is that the prices for drinks were reasonable and the atmosphere/furniture cosy, the staff (once you went up to the bar) were prompt and friendly with their service which I quite appreciate. It was busy but not overcrowded for a Saturday night which was good. I will...
