Lovely place I would like to return to or recommend. All the food were very tasty and not washed down or lacking taste. They had quite a varieties of Korean dishes. I love the tempura prawn, very delicious and tasty. The wheat made ricecake topoki was very tasty. I was susprised they served stir fry gizzard. You will find varieties of Korean meat, and their pork belly are sliced thin instead of thick slices. I like how the staffs worked, they make themselves very busy and useful. They will clear your dirty plates after a while, they constantly wipe the food serving area to make it clean and approachable. Water is prepared and ready when you run out. They would sometimes come and change the barbecue sheets for you. The only 2 downsides I have about this place is the lack of desserts and fume of barbecue smoke. The dessert provided were cheap. 3 types of cheap ice cream of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. You can pick a small soft cake or chocopie. You can pick fruits such as grapes or orange slices. The fumes is an issue, I understand every tables are cooking and barbecuing. But it would be nice if they could do something about the fumes. I know they would not have the smoke pipes like they do in Korea barbecue restaurant, People complain about the time limit of 90mins eating. This is not a problem for me because if people want to seat eat and talk, they need to go to another restaurant. This is a buffet and there are many people waiting to eat at the restaurant. This is pretty standard for buffet restaurants. Also this place was quite busy for a Tuesday evening. All the plates are very clean and cutleries. So far I really enjoyed the delicious foods, happy with the staffs working hard. I would recommend this restaurant, especially to fans of Korean food. They can try varieties of Korean dishes.

K-Town BBQ is an absolute culinary delight that takes Korean cuisine to a whole new level. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with an impressive buffet spread that left me spoilt for choice. The buffet selection at K-Town BBQ is simply amazing. It offers a wide variety of delectable dishes that cater to every palate. From the flavorful grilled meats to the vibrant and fresh vegetables, the options seemed endless. The array of traditional Korean side dishes, also known as banchan, added an extra layer of authenticity and flavor to the meal. But what truly stood out was the mystery of the soy sauce. Whatever secret ingredient they infused into it, it worked like magic, elevating the already delightful dishes to a whole new level. The rich umami flavor in the soy sauce made every bite a burst of delight in my mouth. It's that extra special touch that sets K-Town BBQ apart from other Korean restaurants. The ambiance of K-Town BBQ is inviting and comfortable, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. The friendly staff were attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed for an enjoyable meal. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to explain various dishes made the experience even better. Whether you're new to Korean cuisine or a seasoned enthusiast, K-Town BBQ is a must-visit for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. The buffet selection, coupled with the enchanting soy sauce, makes it a true gem in the world of Korean dining. I will undoubtedly be returning to K-Town BBQ to relish in their amazing buffet and delightful soy sauce in the near future. Don't miss out on this delightful culinary journey - it's an experience that will leave you craving for more!

First time eating at K-Town BBQ restaurant in New Malden. Went on a Sunday, got there at 12.10 noon and we didn't need to queue. The man at reception was helpful to explain to us what was on offer for the £29/person buffet. The inbuilt table grill pan was easy to operate (power off/on & adjustable heating levels). Waiter frequently on hand to change the grill top so it is clean for the next batch of grilling. The cutleries included metal chopsticks, fork, knife & spoon. We did not know about the free tap water jugs (but saw them on other people's tables). We had Orange juice: £2 in a big glass with straw & unlimited fizzy drinks: £4 in a smaller glass with straw. All the different meat (pork, beef ribs, chicken, squid tentacles) were marinated very well. The white prawns were not king/jumbo size, just raw & unseasoned. A few different dipping sauces, pickles (yummy kimchi) & vegetables (edamame beans, salad) were also available. As with any buffet, we did feel rushed to eat it all quickly near the end of our 1.5hrs table slot as they begin to clear the table. Payment was easy with credit cards accepted (no table number, so not sure how they know which order was ours!). Would come again as still plenty of dishes we hadn't had time or stomach spaces to try! Toilets were clean (male and female separate, electric hand drier, hand wash & trolley with top unit for baby change available).

I go to a lot of buffets but I can proudly say that this is my favourite out of all the ones I have been to. It is not often you come across a buffet where the cleanliness is top notch but this restaurant really stands out. I have visited twice now and both times, all the cutlery, plates and bowls are cleaned to a high standard which makes such a difference. It is clear they take hygiene and presentation seriously so that was something I really appreciate.

We opted for the buffet priced at £33 per person and honestly it was totally worth it. They also have a lunchtime buffet for £17 but it does not include the BBQ section. If you want to experience the full range, I highly recommend going for the £33 buffet.

The selection of food is fantastic. You will find all the usual favourites like rice, fried rice, japchae, chicken wings, sushi rolls, soups, kimchi pancake and vegetables. While everything was delicious, what really stood out to me was the meat section. You get the opportunity to cook your own meats on the BBQ right at your table and it is easy to use. The meats were so tender and flavourful. There was a good variety including lamb, pork, chicken, pork sausages and even seafood. The BBQ aspect really makes this place special and it adds to the overall fun dining experience.

I actually came here about three years ago and I am happy to say that the quality has remained consistent. In fact it is just as amazing as I remembered. The attention to detail in both the food and the dining environment is impressive and I can tell that the restaurant has maintained high standards over the years.

As for dessert, it is a simple selection but satisfying. There is a selection of ice cream flavours from chocolate, strawberry and vanilla with a few cake options to choose from. It is not overly extravagant but it is the perfect way to end the meal.

The staff here are wonderful; they were very polite, attentive and service minded. They make sure you are well taken care of throughout your meal which definitely enhances the overall experience.

The restaurant itself is beautifully designed; with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that makes it an enjoyable place to spend time with friends or family. You can also purchase drinks for an additional charge which gives you some flexibility if you want to add something to your meal.

Overall, I can confidently say that this place is one of my favourite buffet spots and I would definitely return. If you are a fan of buffets, especially ones where you can enjoy grilling your own meat, then this is a must visit. I highly...

Terrible service from the “manager”

We used to love this place but over the years the service has gone down the rabbit hole. It went so far down they found Alice. For an all-you-can eat KBBQ, 30£ is not bad BUT with the service they provide this is not worth it. For context, we’ve been going to this place since before the pandemic when the price was just something close to 20£.

We came in just before 3PM knowing that they close at 4PM because we know about it cuz we have been to this place before. And mind you, we have travelled far just to eat in this KBBQ place because it’s proven and tested.

Food wise, it is unremarkable as for us it seems like it stayed the same. Most of the food was okay, can’t say it was excellent but for a buffet it was okay. But the SERVICE from the “MANAGER” was just terrible.

The moment we came in he has told us that the kitchen will close at 3PM, which was fine with us because we wanted the galbi anyway. So we started getting our food and cooking them. About 30mins in our meal, this was probably around 1530H (30mins before they closed for lunch, WHICH WE KNEW ABOUT), he came to our table saying that the kitchen is closed and that they won’t add anymore food, and we agreed as that was what he said the first time. He also said at this time that he was going to clear the hot and cold food section so we have to get what we want before he clears the sections out.

He also said that normally, 5-10mins past 3PM they start cleaning things and clearing the food sections out, and that he even gave us more time (specifically 26mins more) because he was being “friendly”. My friend told him that but you close at 4PM, you shouldn’t have allowed us in if you were going to close, but he let us in.

He started turning off the music and stopped the exhaust which we didn’t mind because it was 1545H. Next thing he did was switch the lights off while we were eating. This was the last straw.

We came in knowing that it closes at 4PM, we don’t usually stay for the whole 90mins that they allow. This also wasn’t the first time that we came in to eat at this time. But this was the first time a “manager” made us feel hurried whilst eating our meal. We left before 4PM with a horrible after taste. The “manager” was very unapologetic, gaslighting us into thinking that he was being “nice and friendly”, he does not listen but says he understands what was happening. DO NOT COME HERE. Might as well try other korean restos around New Malden that are actually...

We went to eat here yesterday around 830pm and had our friends come earlier than us (around 730pm). Without knowing there was an hour and a half time limit per session, we arrived an hour late after our friends and we weren't able to eat the meats given the empty trays of ribs and beef when we got there. This assistant manager named Sayeed went to the table to approach and inform us that the group has already maxed out on our stay and he said if we don't finish the food on the plate IN 5-10 MINUTES, he will charge us with the excess food charge. He also said WE HAD TO LEAVE.

The food was just freshly cooked and we have not even been there for 30 minutes. There were no more new customers coming in but he was really so stern on the rules that given the overstay, we cannot eat there anymore.

I cannot understand WHY HE HAD TO SAY THAT. Why rush the customer into eating that quickly knowing that NO ONE IS EVEN ENTERING THE RESTO ANYMORE GIVEN THAT THEY'RE ABOUT TO CLOSE? He was very inconsiderate and focused on the rules but there was another table who were even earlier than us yet they weren't asked to rush eating.

A little compassion can go a long way. If you treat your customers like they are in a game show to rush eating just because they have already reached the time limit (even if we just arrived 25 mins before he came to tell us that), you will definitely not have customers. We were even willing to pay for the overstay fee if that meant not being rushed. Instead, he kept pushing the issue. That was the FIRST AND ONLY time I have experienced a rude encounter in a k-bbq restaurant as I have always frequented buffets myself.

We spoke to him properly and we were so polite to ask if we can extend and if we can just finish whatever was left and then we will leave but he kept forcing the issue.

Terrible experience and never coming back to this place at all! Such a waste as the food was decent but very poor...
