Gozleme House — Restaurant in London

This is consistently the best Gozleme place on Green Lanes for the tastiest gozleme. Fresh, pillowy, generously filled, and a good range of vegetarian and meat options. This is always my favourite choice. I lived near Green Lanes for 10 years so have tried quite a few. I was back in the area today and had to pick some up for old time’s sake and shared a spinach & cheese (the OG), a halloumi and a lamb mince which we had warm. I had the worst customer service experience here. The woman who served me was extremely rude from the start. I asked for my food not to be heated since it was for my Iftar later, and she immediately got an attitude about it. She gave off really bad vibes and was just plain rude, saying I ‘should’ve mentioned it earlier’—but how was I supposed to know they’d heat it without asking first? At most places, they ask if you’d like it heated or not.

This was my first time trying this spot because I love Gözleme, but I won’t be back. Avoid this place—terrible service, and honestly, you can get way better on Green Lanes. I honestly regretted...

Very unfriendly people, barely moving - no hello, no thank you, no goodbye when you leave. The gözleme are barely average. I ordered two gözleme and got asked if I wanted them warm. Then the girl at the counter put them in a paper bag to go and kept calling for me until I collected them from the counter. There were other people in the shop eating from plates, that got their food brought to them at the table and also asked what they would like to drink - so I just assume if you are not Turkish you will get your food to go and good service is...
