Greggs — Restaurant in London

First off, I LOVE Greggs. Have done for many years. I have tried branches all over London and this has got to be the worst one. I’ve tried to give this particular branch a second chance, third chance and no matter what, something is always wrong. Big lines, never enough staff. Never clean. When the staff serve you they forget your order (last visit I had to repeat my order 4 times - it was a breakfast sausage roll with brown sauce). It took 10mins to be made. Shelves are never stocked but you can be sure that when staff decide to fill something up it’s when there’s a line out the door at peak times. Like, pick your battles guys. I know times are hard and customer service is no one’s dream job (I really do get this) but like, at this point the Stockwell Greggs are actively trying to wage a war on customers. Inconsistent service. I use to order breakfast baguettes from here on JustEat every weekend. Over the last 3 months the quantity of the contents within the baguettes has greatly varied. Today I ordered an omelette, bacon & sausage baguette (spending 80p extra for the bacon and sausage). I expected a plump filled baguette, but when I received it the baguette had the smallest amount of each ingredient. 2 weeks ago I ordered a omelette and bacon baguette, when it arrived it had bacon only! I won't be ordering from Stockwell now. I will instead be ordering from the Brixton Greggs because I know what to expect when ordering there. Sadly this means the JE delivery rider has to travel double...

This is a very popular greggs. Expect long queues. It was closed for one hour during lunch time as the store was short staffed with just one man working. Would have appreciated a be back by time sign as people including myself were standing outside confused at 1 pm as to why it was closed and for how long until 10 minutes later a passerby who had been in greggs earlier explained. The sausage rolls and glazed doughnuts are great but the jam doughnut was so dry I spit it out and tossed it.

I rated down the service as don't expect a friendly smile. I had to insisr I wanted the doughnut behind the counter when she tried to push selling the prepackaged ones. I won't be back to...
