Never write reviews but felt compelled to on this occasion.

Genuinely awful experience today (07/03/2025 - 12:10pm). Long queue, absolutely nothing available in terms of food, one member of staff who was frankly one of the worst shop front staff I’ve ever seen in any shop, ever. Totally appreciate working at Greggs isn’t the pinnacle by any means, but the attitude was shocking, mumbling, didn’t really have a clue what was going on.

Anyway, waiting in line, one by one everyone was leaving their food on the counter and walking off rather disgruntled. Turns out, the card reader wasn’t working. Perhaps inform the queue that’s the case rather than constantly face a barrage of customers who are ultimately going to be annoyed when they wait for 10 mins to find out they can’t actually get anything. Ended up taking me 20 minutes to wait and then be told I couldn’t purchase anything unless it was cash.

Being totally honest, the other members of staff I’ve faced in this particular shop are always friendly, fast and personable. Just this one individual, she clearly doesn’t want to be there, probably a good thing for...

5/12/2024 7,00am arrived outside opening times to see food being placed on shelves :) not open yet but few more moments. Then the he/she understaffed today then makes a meal and proceeds to escort the meal to the back of the shop.. 7,30 am he/she opens the front door and says out of breath " You can walk in You No, after trying to wedge open the door, then proceeds to stand there catching breath expecting some other reaction then shock! I said "I don't want to get in your way i need you to hurry.. She then proceeds to say I dont have to serve you.. after a moment of her not walking to the counter to serve anyone I decided she ain't fit enough to work this early and especially just after she has eaten. Hi todays day 12/10/2022. I experience one of the most arrogant and dirty cases. I was ready to order when the old woman on counter aproached and was touching her noise with her hand , she was ready to pick up a bag to put my food in , before that i asked ger if please can you wash your hands or put some glove ... straight away she refused and triying to attend the next client . That is teally disgusting and unproffesional she haven't got any hygiene at all . Later on she was disrespectfull because i complaint about it making me get out of a store .
