Called in for lunch after spotting this cafe whilst driving along Hornsey Rise looking for the Health Centre. Parking a car is the main (usual) problem in London anywhere. However, just across the road round the corner on Hanley road, parking is available but only via phone with the RINGO app. A complicated and expensive operation. £7:35 for one hour. Welcome to London.

The cafe itself is welcoming with 'outdoor,' covered/enclosed seating and plenty of tables inside. Prompt and welcoming service from the waitress. Lots of options on the Extensive breakfasts section of menus, we chose the first and cheapest on the list. It was a large plate with properly cooked items enough for anyone. Tea/coffee and toast included.

To summarise, if you're looking for a reasonably (for London) cheap and cheerful breakfasts cafe in Hornsey rise, this fits the bill. I used to live in london back in 2016 until 2019 when i worked in the Whittington hospital. My fiance and i were regular customers we were having our lunch like 3-4 times per week for 3 years. I came across their store online and i remembered that it was my favourite restaurant ever. I returned back in Greece and i run my own business now but when i visit london again i will definitely pay a visit to them. ps. i still remember the owner Victor was calling me 'Giannis my brother' and we were chatting about anything from football to political situation in Greece and Turkey etc. He was planning to retire in Italy if i remember correct and his son take over the place. Hospitality at it's best! Comfort from outside your own home. The fact that it is a local joint makes it that one bit better as it is only a few mins walk from me. Requested a few dishes on the spicy side and it had left me amazed and fully satisfied. Surprisingly they have a Instagram worthy dessert that is; Lotus Biscoff cheesecake. I have tried the Chicken Penne and requested it spicy and they did deliver.
