I hardly ever give food places long bad reviews unless it’s justified, this is 100% justified.

Don’t even get me started. The mains were mid and then we ordered the French toast…this is where it went all wrong. You’d think French toast is usually SOAKED with a mixture of beaten eggs and milk.

This French toast was nothing like that, it was horrific, no egg nothing…so I sent it back.

It gets so much worse from here. The disrespect and rudeness was actually unreal.

When I sent it back, a minute later this old hijabi lady comes up to us and starts being and talking aggressive? She was so rude and obnoxious I couldn’t believe it, I was literally so confused to why she was acting as if I insulted her? She was continuously saying stuff like “this is how French toast is made” and she even brought the brioche loaf to show us like we don’t know what it is? I find it hard to believe these people running the place don’t know what a French toast is?

Ok fine maybe you do make your “French toast” like that, but that doesn’t give you a reason to be rude and be disrespectful to us particularly when we wasn’t being disrespectful at all. All we did is send back the food. It was really embarrassing the way she acted, she needs to sort her terrible attitude out. It’s disgusting and horrific.

The really weird part about is was that we were not being rude at all, all we did is sent back the food and then she comes and starts being rude immediately. This is not how you treat people.

I was with my wife and this hijabi lady was honestly so lucky that I didn’t cause a scene because I don’t usually tolerate such behaviour. Even after this event, the other colleagues were still justifying that this is how French toast is made? Are they living under a rock?

All I’m saying. The food is best average itself but If there is ever an issue with your food, prepare for the worst and if this hijabi lady comes prepare for a yelling.

If I could rate this restaurant zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, one of the most disappointing and unacceptable experiences I have ever had when dining out.

Initially, the food appeared well-presented. However, I soon discovered a hair in the halloumi dish. I politely informed the waitress, who was courteous and promptly took the plate away.

What followed was completely unacceptable. An elder woman, who I believe to be the chef, came out and shouted at me, insisting it was not a hair but in fact an eyelash- something that was clearly not the case. Her tone was aggressive, and her behaviour deeply embarrassing, as she raised her voice in front of other customers.

Worse still, the lady repeatedly and aggressively patted my right shoulder, trying to convince me of her claim. This was not only physically painful as i already have a dislocated shoulder but also completely inappropriate. For a member of staff to invade a customer’s personal space is appalling.

The waitress who originally served me (was wearing a turban) was very apologetic and handled the situation as well as she could- she even offered a new plate however i refused as the hair on the first plate made me feel sick already. The conduct of the elder lady was utterly unprofessional and unacceptable, especially considering I was a paying customer who found hair in their food.

If i were you i WOULD not attend this restaurant, the way they dealt with the situation was completely unacceptable especially since i was so calm about it initially.

Whether for a special occasion or a casual outing or on a date, it's definitely somewhere you can go to chill and relax.  However parking was available but a little expensive so I don't know the area well maybe there is cheaper parking.
