Harri’s Kitchen — Restaurant in London

Harri's kitchen never fails to impress. Today I've had their sweet potato falafel wrap with sweet chilli jam, red peppers, lettace, onion and piquitto peppers and it was amazing! My partner had a traditional bacon and egg crusty roll and Harri's made it especially to his request (very particular about his bacon!). Sounds ridiculous but if you're the same you'll understand! All was fresh, very tasty and exactly how we wanted it.

The Greek orange cake is an incredible dessert and I highly recommend it to all. Fresh, moist and full of fresh flavours.

The kitchen is visable and all areas are very clean.

My coffee was lovely and not overly bitter. As I know from friends, again Harri's is happy to make your beverage exactly how you like it.

The staff are always friendly and helpful and willing to provide you with a food experience you are pleased with.

Harri’s is a rare example of a true family run “caf”.

On our first visit it was easy to dismiss it as “just another cafe”. But on repeat visits what you’ll find is a warm and welcoming local London hot spot that’s popular with all generations — from young parents with their toddlers to older gentlemen and women who have clearly lived in the area all their lives.

I always go for a classic cappuccino and a bacon roll (they let you choose whether you want soft or crusty bread), and it’s always cooked fresh. None of this “warmed up under a hot plate” nonsense that you find in some cafes.

There’s a great set of lunch options — baked potatoes, toasted sandwiches, paninis and more.

There are lots of Greek sweets and pastries. The honey cake is an absolute delight and like nothing I’ve had since being on holiday on a Greek island many years ago.

Sunday 10/11/19: I paid upfront and waited 45 minutes for my meal today. The waiting staff seemed to be selective of who they offered a good service to. I asked what was happening as I was prepared to leave and get my money back, the waiter just pointed to the food. There was no apology offered. When I finally received my meal I was given no cutlery and the waitress just dumped the plate on the counter and went on to serve other customers, so I had to go up to the counter, again no apology.
