We visited this newly opened restaurant, as its main attraction for me was its small plates menu. We started with the house-baked bread with whipped baked yeast butter, which was just up my street, followed by Korean fried cauliflower, sriracha, toasted sesame and spiced dipping sauce, also delicious.
The millionaire potatoes must be the signature dish of this restaurant. The next dish was colourful heritage tomatoes, burrata, basil and crostini, with pretty colourful flowers.
The pan-roasted cod with herb potato cake, samphire, chilli, and clam and caper sauce, was the best cod I've ever tasted.
Finally, the mango cheesecake ... was to die for!
The owner Alex and his staff were friendly and helpful.
The restaurant has a constantly changing menu, and I look forward to trying other dishes. The prices were reasonable, and I would be happy to eat there again and again!

Read moreWe had made this booking weeks ago. We booked for 1pm. They said the website made a mistake and they have double booked the table we needed. They asked us to wander around and come back at 2:30!! We had a pregnant woman and 2 kids under 3 with us!! They were very rude. We had a birthday celebration so we had cake. They asked if they should take the cake to the back and cut it and bring it back. We were 10 adults and 1 kid who would have cake but they cut the cake into 8 pieces leaving 3 people without cake! After all of this rudeness they had the audacity to say we can order desserts! They knew they kept us wandering for 1.5 hours and made these mistakes but didn’t offer any compensation at all. They kept giving us side eyes as well!! They charged the full service fee. We are very unhappy with the whole unfortunate incident. If it wasn’t mother’s day we would have gone...
Read moreWonderful dinner spot, loved the decor and vibe of the small quaint tapas spot. We had the scallops, Korean cauliflower, prawns, and burrata melon salad.
Number 1 on our palate ranking was the burrata melon cucumber salad, so flavorful and refreshing on a hot evening. The prawns were not king size but definitely soaked to buttery perfection. The scallops were on the salty side and not our favorite. Korean cauliflower was umami heaven, lots of gochujang pop and healthier than fried chicken although just as flavor packed.
We paired the meal with an Old fashioned which was so fragrant of citrus and summer I couldn’t believe it. The sweetness did not overwhelm the taste of the spirit and was well balanced.
We capped the meal off with a Eton mess strawberries and cream, amazing dessert that should never be skipped, beware it does...
