Absolutely perfect dining out .... except for..... The crazily loud, schizophrenic music which couldn't decide whether it was a forlorn 90s teenager, a 6 year old child or a headbanging geezer having a mid life crisis. 🎶 Michael Jackson's thrilling evil laugh reverberated off our excellent starters of sticky bau buns, crispy duck spring rolls and delectable toasted gyoza 🥟🥟 Our tangy tasty cocktails defied gravity as we awaited our mains. I couldn't hear my husband's conversation but at least my passion fruit mocktail was wicked. Our mains were served to the miserable, booming tones of Keane. The ramen broth was exceptional and the noodles were chewy and bouncy. I think the shredded duck was enjoyed by the husband but it's hard to tell as he was crying into somewhere only he knew. At this moment, we did ask the consistently attentive waitress to turn the music down which she did, meaning we were able to stay for dessert. I was at the point to leave because I could no longer bear to sit in this bizarre night club, despite the decor being so pretty and tastefully done. Please, Management, consider playing some nice background Oriental music to fit your theme! You have flawless Asian food, excellent decorations and little pleasing touches (such as the lanterns and fortune cookies) and your staff were so helpful in advising us and were attentive throughout. Food is highly recommended but I certainly couldn't return if that racket was still on 😂

I came here on one other occasion before. I wasn’t necessarily impressed by my mango and chicken salad I had previously and the siu mai, but I came back as my housemate was eager to try their pad Thai. This restaurant gave me a Pan-Asian sort of impression with its mixture of East and South East Asia options. To my housemate’s dismay, she wasn’t able to get the pad Thai as they didn’t offer a vegetarian option. Whilst it did have a tofu option, it wasn’t marked as vegetarian since it still contained fish sauce. Fortunately, the lady who served us warned her as she came to ordering it. I went for the massamam lamb curry served with egg noodles. Curry was delightful and packed with a lot of umami flavour to which I enjoyed, but didn’t have at least a slightly spicy kick. Good portion of meat. Egg noodles were up to standards Then comes the desserts. Pandan crème brûlée was unique and so we tried that. Pandan flavour was hinted at, though sweet for the most part. Whilst we enjoyed the Hong Kong waffle, the waffle itself was hard to slice into as it was not fresh so that was the disappointing part. Overall a decent experience with friendly service. I would say, they should include vegetarian options for their set lunch menu. Decent Asian food, but not super authentic.

I recently visited Dim T and had a pleasant dining experience. The vegetable gyozas were delicious, and the sweet and sour vegan chicken, along with the black bean vegan chicken with rice, were both flavorful and satisfying. However, the service was a bit on the slower side, especially considering the restaurant wasn’t too busy at the time. Despite that, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I would rate it 4 stars. For those planning to visit, I recommend trying the gyozas—they’re a great starter! Also, if you’re in the mood for something different, the black bean vegan chicken is a unique dish worth tasting.

I never tend to write reviews, but I was astonished at the service in this place! On Monday, for my birthday I went there to have lunch by myself, after my arrival the place started to become very busy! However, after a long wait, I receive my starter at the same time as my main!!!!!!! ..What! So after finishing my starter, I started with the main but halfway through eating the dish the prawns in my main felt already cold!

I said to the woman that this is not ok, especially for a restaurant like theirs! and she answered, sorry we do this when the kitchen is busy! I was shocked by her answer, she was basically saying, I don't care if your food gets cold, we are busy!!!!!!!

However, all the other tables around me had the starter first and the main after!....I was eating alone, meaning I had no distractions so I was technically going to eat and go, but that was not enough for them, they wanted me out of there even faster! ... But then, Why during my long wait, they did not bring me my starter? To speed things up? Why do I have to eat it cold because you have poor management in the place?

That was sooo wrong to do that! Just because we are one person eating we are not meant to be treated with the same respect as other tables? Apparently, my single experience was not important!

If this place doesn't care about people and giving them a pleasant experience with their food, and it cares just about money, then you should perhaps open a low-budget chain restaurant or a Wetherspoons, and if you cannot cope with a busy restaurant and need to kick people out ruining the experience, then perhaps you should have a cafe shop and not a restaurant!

Very disappointing experience because it was my birthday that day, and because I recently moved to the area and was so excited to have a Thai restaurant near me and I loved the atmosphere...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS unless you want severe food poisoning! Me and 4 of my friends visited Dim T today and from the outset we were HORRIFIED! Firstly when we called to book a table she was incredibly rude on the phone no greeting at all. Secondly, we showed up to the restaurant and to our surprise there were only 2 people sitting in there on a Friday night which was alarming! The waiter ok arrival was fuming that guests had walked in, he shook his head and started huffing and puffing(he wanted to head home) this was at 930pm. We ordered Dim sum which came out completely wrong, no filling other than off vegetables in what was meant to be prawn and scallop dim sum! Then came the HORRIFIC mains! The Thai green curry was WHITE instead of green and tasted funky, when I informed the waiter he said oh it’s because coconut is over powering!? (See attached images) the stir fry tastes of fairy liquid and the pork dim sum was fully raw! Cutlery was filthy with old food and stains and he turned the restaurant music and lights off at 10pm whilst we were eating because he wanted to go home! Then the waiter started cleaning around our table whilst we were eating! We asked him at what time does it close, he said oh it’s meant to be 11 but 10-1030 if hardly any guests! SHOCKING! I used to eat at this restaurant 5 years ago but didn’t return when I found silver Brillo pad bits in my stir fry so I thought I’d give it another chance 5 years on and I can honestly say it has gone 10 x worse. All 5 of us are experiencing signs of food poisoning such as diorrhea and vomiting. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO...
