This place is absolutely banging! Tucked away next to the cinema, opposite Hampstead underground station. The burgers are freshly cooked and taste absolutely delicious. The staff are incredibly kind, respectful, and accommodating. They have no problem making reasonable amendments to the set menu (I.e: not putting jalapeños on my burger even though it's written on the menu.) The food itself is well cooked and presented, chicken and beef were cooked to perfection. I've gone with the fried chicken burger, and the meat itself was juicy and tender, while still deliciously crispy on the outside. 🥵
Truly one of the best burgers I've ever had (and if you look through my past reviews you'll find I've had a few... 🤣)
They have a good selection on the menu, and a good variety between spicy, non spicy, chicken or beef. Yet they don't over-do it with having far too many options to the point where it's overwhelming! - perfect balance.
And the fries are AMAZING! Being able to choose from a few different ones such as cheesy fries, truffle fries, buffalo, and a couple more (including just normal fries with no toppings) - which just perfectly compliments the burger menu.
10/10 - definitely recommend, and will most definitely be going again before we...
Read moreByron it's not! I was pleased Hampstead finally got a modern burger joint and was looking forward to giving it a try but sadly one visit is going to be more than enough. Perhaps two staff on a weekend aren't enough but when we walked in half the tables were empty but still dirty, not a great first impression. I ordered the smoked burger with bacon but got given pulled pork instead. Yes, I could have sent it back but being in a hurry didn't want to wait again. Our waiter made it clear the burgers are cooked medium pink as at most places but what arrived was borderline raw and red throughout. I'd barely taken one bite when half the burger broke off and fell out of the bun onto the plate in a bloody mess. The accompanying fries were ok, but the Oreo milkshake was a disappointment for £4.50. The onion rings were also poor. With stiff competition in the burger scene Spielburger stands out from the crowd for all the...
Read moreI used to be a regular customer at tinseltown but ever since the introduction of deliveroo and ubereats to their services, the standards have dropped and prices have risen unfairly. The management has changed and so have the employees who I was used to seeing. Current employees are nowhere near as nice. I was ordering from them for at least 8 years and the food and service was nice 95% of the time but now however, it is expensive and the food tastes awful so I stopped ordering from them about 2 years ago. Spielburger has come to my rescue lol and the funny thing is it is even more expensive than tinseltown but it is totally worth it because the food tastes so nice and the service is the best because they're so damn polite and hospitable. I'm not sure their hospitality can be compared to many other restaurants in London. They...
