UPDATE: I was so impressed with the food here after having takeaway a couple of times that I decided to have a pre Christmas family lunch here. BIG MISTAKE. I booked for 6 people and it was an absolute disaster. The customer service was appalling. The waitress had a terrible attitude and the people running the place cannot train her as they aren’t much better themselves. We had a 6.30pm booking. There was one other table there before us and 4 out of our 6 meals came out after an hour and a half. No apology, no explanation, nothing. Then after those meals were brought out the waitress comes and tells us that there is no more jollof rice so they cannot bring the 5th meal. No suggestion of replacement, nothing. How do you have us sitting there so long, bring out other plates of jollof rice and neglect to mention that you have no more? Totally unacceptable. The attitude from them was so off putting. After 4 people in our group were brought and finished their meals we told them that the remaining food, which was the seafood okra dish we no longer wanted. We were now 2 hours into waiting. It was only then that the lady owner or manager I presume came out and apologised and said that they were busy. Unfortunately for us it was too little too late. We asked for the bill and here is where things got crazy. They tried to overcharge us! She said the price for the wine which was labelled £15 on the menu was now £20 and that the chicken parts which was £8 on the menu was now £15. This lady really started shouting and trying to argue, demanding that we pay the extra £12. I couldn’t even believe what I was witnessing. We did not engage. We paid the amount as was indicated on the menu and left. Hell would have to freeze over before I ever enter such an uncouth badly run place again! They totally ruined our family dinner. Original review: A new Nigerian restaurant in the area with great food! The oha soup was delectable and the okra soup was super fresh and tasty. The portion sizes are good and staff are polite and accommodating. My one recommendation would be for more thorough check on the tenderness of the tripe and nkwobi as both times I have ordered there have been pieces too tough to eat.

I loved the food. I have to be honest, there were some hitches, from a customer service point of view (you can get the gist from some of the other reviews) but I think a restuarant like this is needed so i'm giving them a good review as word of encouragement. If you go, be patient and shall I say flexible and I'm sure you will enjoy your meal, I do hope the restaurant can also get better at the surrounding things necessary for an enjoyable dining experience. I had the Jollof rice, and Pepper Soup. I can't remember the name of the other thing but it's in the picture, all very tasty, I hope to return soon!

The seafood Okra and pounde yam was beautiful, delicious and fresh. I had to tell all my Nigerian friends about it and send them pictures. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Sometime before the restaurant opened for the day, I went online on the restaurant's website and ordered the whole spiced chicken through the online ordering system on their website. I received a confirmation email saying the meal will be ready at 1.15pm (the restaurant was opening at 1pm).

At just after 1pm, I called the restaurant, only to be told that they had not received my order. I was told that they only take orders through Just Eat and Deliveroo. I mentioned that I had used their website AND received confirmation that my order will be ready. They told me that there is no way to order food from their website... Which baffled me as I had just done so.

After alot of back and forth I was told that not only was the food not made, but they didn't even have it in stock. I was also told that they don't get paid through website orders and that I should seek a refund through my bank. So ultimately, I was basically down 18 pounds, with no food, and with no prospect of getting an immediate refund.

This was a very unappealing experience and and the people I spoke to on the phone were equally not helpful, not knowledgeable, and not friendly or even trying to be understanding about my...

Made an order via Uber eats, because I was extremely sick. My husband made the order for me, when the food was delivered because I couldn’t get up I asked my kids to get the order, my daughter brought the food to my room, I got the wrong order completely. I called them and imagine they hung up on me. I had no choice but to go there as it’s across the road, I managed to get up despite my condition and walked there in heavy rain, when I got there I was told it was the drivers fault, how is that’s even possible, when you knew the driver was picking up more than one order - which I have never heard before, why didn’t you put all order belonging to everyone together so the driver doesn’t mix up, anyways I was told to sit and wait for the food, I said I couldn’t wait, imagine me wait for them to prepare food, there was no apology, no form of remorse, instead I got attitude. Bad customer service, I actually really liked the restaurant before up until yesterday. If I wasn’t sick, I’ll rather walk there and...
