Megabreakfast Cafe in Downham is a little local gem!

The food is the typical British breakfast food including veggie options. They also serve a variety of lunch and dinner options. I have milk allergy and eat mainly plant based which they accommodated happily. First time we visited the lady serving us gave suggestions as to what we could substitute with and checking the ingredients for me. I felt very safe and cared for!

Big portions of food, which is perfect for a brunch or late lunch. The food is filling and tasty. They have a proper coffee machine and have plenty of milk options - definitely something for everyone!

Service is friendly and very helpful! After visiting a few times they remembered us making the visit feel ever so homely, and makes us wanting to come again and again.

There isn't much space when entering the establishment, and not a smooth step free access in, so if you have buggies or use a wheelchair you might not fit inside without tables and chairs being moved.

The Cafe is very clean with a high hygienic rating and with a simple clean interior.

Food is always nice and the female.waitress is ever so friendly and helpful however my recent experience this lunchtime was nothing but upsetting. The cafe had a large group of clients with their support staff. I felt the support staff come into the cafe and took over and disregarded anyone ones personal space. One staff member female support worker who upset me mainly and this should be addressed on their future visits. I feel they should reserve their tables instead of coming in and invading space of those who were already eating. What happened to me was them grabbing my pram.and moving it willy nilly without asking or giving me the option of moving it myself, then proceeded to take condiments from my table instead of their own table without asking, and then dumping their bag on the empty chair at my table without asking and spent most the time standing up around me and my table which would make anyone feel quite uncomfortable while they are trying to eat. Bad etiquette their part and a total.space invader which ruined my lunch with my toddler and has put me off...
