best vanilla latte i’ve ever had in my life, would give 10 stars if i could!! the latte is perfectly sweet with the vanilla syrup and the coffee is simply divine. it’s not watery like other places and perfectly thick, i wish i lived in this area solely so i could have this latte every day 🤤 i came a few months ago and again today and it tasted exactly the same so they consistently make it rlly good! was amazing during this hot weather, will be back again soon with friends for sure :)

We stayed at an Airbnb near this place so we came by a couple of times for hot beverages and pastries. I don't drink coffee but it was apparently quite good and it was generally busy when it was open. I found that the hot chocolate was a bit on the dark side so it was a bit bitter. They also have some pastries and bread on the side and we grabbed a few to try. They were alright. It is a nice place to grab something if it is on the way, a quick and friendly place.

So I have been visiting this coffee shop for a while now. The coffee is amazing my favourite pastel de natas are delicious and a staff are always cheerful and polite. Apart from one staff member. Several months ago have made a comment on the way she puts a lid on the coffee, whole palm over the mouth hole, so unhygienic, which made her really unhappy and she didn't take it well. Since then I was always greeted with sideway looks and she would never smile, I always sensed some unaccomodating negativity for that one pretty legitimate comment. And today she topped it up for me for not allowing me to grab a pastry myself, insisting on assisting me and made it look like I'm doing something so ridiculously against the rules, where in reality she just needed to show me her authority. Well decent place now lost a regular customer for the LACK OF BASIC HOSPITALITY MINDSET from staff. I recommend her reading Will Guidara - Unreasonable Hospitality to understand the whole dynamic within the service industry. There are plenty of other coffee shops in the area and I will have no need to come back. Thank you other members of staff for always a pleasant interaction and...

Really nice coffee, just a shame about the welcome and exit. First walked in and was not greeted by the barista, however the taller chap (sorry I didn’t get your name) welcomed us in and took our orders. When we were leaving, the drinks were given to us by the ‘moody’ barista and when we asked for a sleeve, he just rudely pointed it then. If you don’t like your job, leave! Was looking for an Independant coffee chain and have been meaning in coming in here for a few weeks now. A shame this will be the...

I have been going to Hopper for several years. It used to be very busy and there was a jovial environment (pre-lockdown). I have enjoyed all my purchases. On my first visit of 2025, I was shocked to find new baristas, no loyalty card and I wasn't given a discount for using my own cup! They said they were waiting for new management to decide on things (shouldn't something like that be decided before taking over a business?)....
