Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with my husband and then 6 week old baby. ||||Pros - lovely apartments decorated in a luxurious manner. Wifi available throughout and TVs in both bedrooms (one double, one single) and living room. Living room also had a small round dining table with 4 seats - handy as I was in London on business and needed to some work in the evening. Excellent location, and we parked 10 minute walk away at a hotel for £12 for the night - bargain for London. We stopped off outside Doherty street to drop the bags et al off first before parking. ||||You ring the office when you arrive and are greeted by a cleaner who gives you the key to the apartment & forms to sign. Issue with this is if you have any problems or queries they can't do anything. ||||Cons - no lift - we were allocated a top floor apartment we had 5 narrow flights of stairs to carry her pram carry cot etc up which was a massive effort. ||No air con - the apartment was far far to warm (and I love being warm) it's was stifling and made us feel ill. None of us including baby got much sleep due to this. We did ask for a fan which the cleaner gave us but this didn't give much comfort. The street noise was loud and there is a pub or something of the sorts at the back of the apartments so when the living room window was open you could heard people partying all night. No problem usually but this was a Wednesday so can't imagine what it's like on the weekend. ||||Would I stay again? I'm in two minds. The apartment was lovely, excellent kitchen facilities, everything you need for one night before getting to a supermarket the next day (team milk etc), nice bathroom, spacious apart, met by London standards and an excellent location. I wouldn't go again in the height of summer unless air con was installed, and I would also request a ground or first...
Read moreWe stayed here for the last week of July and liked the room. It wasn't that big but it was still big enough for two persons. The location for us was great since we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go like the London Zoo and London Eye.||||The staff brought croissants every morning except Monday (which was odd) and the last day we stayed there but that was most likely because we had do not disturb sign on the door.||||Towels and sheets were changed once during our one week stay. Even though the rooms were located so close to downtown it was always really quiet. The only problem we had was that there wasn't air conditioning in the room and it got very hot since there were some record setting temperatures in London during our stay. The last couple of days when the weather cooled down the room cooled down too so during normal weather one shouldn't have any problems since there are windows to open.||||Wifi was quite bad which was a minor setback but nothing too serious. Would be nice to see some improvements on that though.||||There was a safe in the room which was a really great addition. Microwave would have been nice but otherwise the "kitchen" was well equipped.||||Overall we had a nice stay and I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a decent priced hotel room with...
Read moreI stayed in Apartment 9 of the single suites in these apartments and am pleased to say that the rooms were very well maintained, well cleaned and contained all you need for a pleasant stay. I was revising so exams, so peace and quiet, access to good wifi and a desk were essential. The room made good use of the space available and very clean. ||||Contrary to other ratings, the staff I met at the site were lovely and helpful, and the management team were great in assisting me with a booking hiccup with Hotels.com who I booked the room through. One tip for travellers, would be to confirm your booking direct with the owner direct as I did.||||The room was pretty much as the advertised photos, (only some very superficial damage to the shower) and the actual shower itself, towels provided as well as and welcome care pack were good, with the croissants provided being particularly tasty. There is milk supplied for coffee and tea. There was even a continental plug if you needed it! ||||The apartments do not have a microwave, but they do have an oven and hob, and fridge so all in all, I had a great...
