Truth be told, I was craving biryani and decided to stop by this restaurant for a quick meal. I ordered a chicken biryani, which was reasonably priced at £5.00 with a fee to sit in, if I remember correctly. The staff member who served me didn't say much, just asked what I wanted and plated it for me. The ambiance of the place was rather off-putting, with only a few double-sided booths and tables wedged in between. Judging by the appearance, it seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.
The biryani, while adequate in portion size, was overly spicy without much flavor. As someone who has tried a lot of biryani, especially Hyderabadi biryani, I was disappointed. I'm aware that Hyderabadi biryani is spicy, but it usually has actual flavor as well, which this seemed to lack. When I asked for raita, the server pulled out a big bucket from under the counter and dumped it in a bowl, which was rather off-putting. I didn't touch it as it didn't look like it had been refrigerated.
After finishing my meal, I asked the staff member where the sink was, and he just pointed to a sink in the corner, which had cutlery dumped in it. It wasn't the most hygienic place, and it made me question how my food was prepared, as hygiene standards seemed to be rather relaxed here. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it, as there are countless Indian restaurants in the area with far better food and...
Read moreI visited Hyderabad Paradise Express, East Ham today and had one of the worst dining experiences ever. I ordered chicken biriyani, and halfway through the meal I discovered a cockroach in my food. Yes — an actual cockroach cooked and served in the biriyani.
This is not just disappointing — it is disgusting and a serious health hazard. It clearly shows a complete lack of hygiene and quality control in the kitchen. No customer should ever have to experience something like this at a restaurant.
I immediately stopped eating and lost all trust in this place. If they cannot maintain basic cleanliness, they should not be serving food to the public. I strongly urge others to think twice before eating here.
I sincerely hope the authorities look into this and the management takes urgent action to clean up their kitchen and fix their standards — because this is beyond...
Read moreFirst of all their food is Good and no doubt in it. It deserves 5 start. But their customer care needs much improvement. I used to go daily and now reduced it.
They play with the customers with the prices. There is a one nice guy who treat customers very well. Once I bought 2 Ulunthu Vade as I told it is 2 for £1.00. Another day a different guy charged me £1.50. I asked him and he said it is only £1.00 after 8.00pm. But yesterday I bought it from the first guy for same thing for £1.00
One guy told me that 3 Leg pieces of Tandoori chicken if only £5.00 and I bought it. But yesterday another customer asked the price in front of me and they said 3 for £5.50
Whether it is 5 pence or 5 pounds, it is money. You guys need a working ethics and treat the customers equally and keep the prices standard. We pay for what we buy. Some of the staffs...
