I hardly give reviews. But what I felt yesterday was so bad. I have not been treated like that in a long time
A group of 4 of us - So when we walked in we were greeted not by staff but an argument between a staff and customers regarding table size. No one greeted or welcomed us for at least 5 mins, until I asked The lady the entrance and can we order here and she’s replied with of course I was confused because the same lady was watching us in the entrance for at least five minutes and didn’t say anything
We were then asked to wait for a table and then when the table appeared we were asked to sit at the 8 seater table then we look started asking for the menu and then once we’ve chosen items we called one of the waitresses and asked told her our order and she then took our order and then suddenly said guys can you go to this table as you pointed to a dirty table with four seats in it and there was four of us but we had already started at the 8 seater table so we were a bit confused why we were asked to sit at a dirty table. II clarified are you going to clean it she said yes of course we going to clean it and we were asked to moveI thought this was everything to do so I called the waitress again and asked her why do you want us to move we’ve already settled she said oh there’s a there’s a group that need your seats and they’re bigger group then you said they need the table I thought that was extremely rude.
I must admit the lady did say sorry after I confronted her but I have to say my vegetarian biriyani was really bad the rice was dry it was really too aromatic with too many aromatic spices (whole spices/garam masala) that I couldn’t really taste the normal Biriyani flavour. However my brother said the chicken biriyani was very good. However the overall service meant that we will definitely not be coming back.
Its shame we were thinking about doing a birthday party here. Amazing location with...
Read moreMy New Year's celebration at Hyderabadi Bawarchi was truly extraordinary! I want to express my gratitude to Mr. Kishore, the owner and head chef, for his kindness in accommodating our party, especially during a bustling time. Our group comprised 50 people, and the food was nothing short of amazing—it garnered praises from everyone! The menu featured a delightful mix of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and the desserts were a perfect sweet ending to our meal. The flavours were meticulously balanced, catering to the preferences of guests of all ages.
The party hall itself was a vibrant and aesthetically pleasing space. It was adorned with beautiful decorations, complete with a well-equipped stage, comfortable seating arrangements, a large TV screen, a DJ set, a microphone, CCTV projectors, and more. The thoughtful arrangements made it an ideal setting for our small group, ensuring we had everything we needed to make the celebration memorable.
A special shout out to Mr. Kiran, whose assistance was invaluable in planning the party. He was involved from the initial stages right up to the end, ensuring that every aspect ran smoothly. Mr. Kiran kept us well-informed about the timing of the starters, main course, and dessert, and meticulously managed the schedule. His dedicated involvement allowed us to relax and thoroughly enjoy the festivities, knowing that all our guests were well taken care of. Many thanks for creating such a wonderful and stress-free celebration!
The one thing that caught us off guard was the parking fees near the restaurant. We were expecting it to be free, as we were told on a bank holiday. It costed us around £16+ for each car for the party duration, which we felt was on the higher side. Apart from this its a 5* place and service in...
Read moreI recently visited the Hyderabadi Bawarchi Indian restaurant in Eastham for the dinner. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing, especially with the Family Pack Vegetarian Biryani that I ordered. We also ordered Panner Tikka and Mushroom Manchurian.
To begin with, the biryani lacked the authentic flavors and aromatic spices that one would expect from a Hyderabadi restaurant. The rice was uncooked and devoid of the distinct grains and texture that make biryani so delightful. The vegetables in the biryani seemed undercooked, giving it an unpleasant crunch that didn't complement the dish.
Moreover, the overall presentation was lacking, however the portion/quantity size was quite big its wort for the price. The portion can easily serve to 3-4 People.
However, it felt like I was served a hastily prepared dish that didn't live up to the standards I had anticipated from a reputed Hyderabadi restaurant. Overall, I was very disappointed.
I understand that taste preferences can vary, but having sampled biryanis from various places, I can confidently say that this particular experience fell short of my expectations. I hope that the restaurant takes this feedback constructively and works towards improving the quality of their dishes and service.
In conclusion, my visit to Hyderabadi Bawarchi was not as enjoyable as I had hoped, and I am hesitant to recommend it to others based on this experience. I believe there is room for improvement, and I hope that future patrons have a more satisfying...
