TGF Pizza — Restaurant in London

UPDATE: This is an updated review from the one that I had written yesterday (see bottom of the page). Early this morning I got a call from the management at TGF pizza to find out what went wrong. They listened to my case carefully and agreed that a mistake had indeed been made due to miscommunication. They profusely apologised for the error in pricing and said it shouldn't have happened and that staff should have dealt with it better. They compensated me for overcharging (something which was a shock to me yesterday since they are usually normally very good). Anyway I thought it's only fair to update readers as TGF did their best to rectify their mistake and were genuinely sorry. I am hopeful I will get back to receiving the great service and food I used to before this incident.

ORIGINAL:Whenever we order pizza, we usually go with TGF and get it delivered. I ordered our usual (family fare) and asked for price of the deal and was told it was £20 (which was what I paid last time as well). I then asked what would it be if I wanted 18inch instead and they told me £22. I placed the order and the guy who delivered said it was £37.50! I said that must be a mistake and that I was told it was £22 and to call their office again as I had double checked with them as I was paying cash. Then TGF calls me back again saying no, the pizza itself is £22! I said to them I asked you more than once how much the meal was and you repeated £22 so why are you saying something different now! They said they meant the pizza. Even if they had gone up in price in the last few months to almost double the price is sheer extortion. They have just lost a loyal customer. I had a fantastic experience at TGF Pizza in Gants Hill! The service was excellent, and a special thanks to Sravanthi, who was incredibly polite and attentive while serving the pizza. Her friendly attitude made the visit even better.

The pizza itself was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and loaded with quality toppings. What I loved most is that if you request extra toppings, they don’t hesitate to fulfill it generously, ensuring a great taste in every bite.

The service from TGF Pizza was superb. I ordered 10 x 4 in 1 square Margherita pizzas for my daughter’s 1 year birthday party and even though they only had 3 pans to cook all 10 pizza’s they accommodated my request. They even told me that getting the pizzas delivered would cost me a lot more than collecting them so we were more than happy to collect them.

TGF also asked me if one of the pizzas can be a round 18” pizza and I was more than happy for that as it had more slices.

The pizzas were a big hit, we had rave compliments from all our guests stating how tasty they were.
