Indian Rasoi seemed to us, like the local go-to Indian restaurant. The decoration looks a bit dated, but everything was still clean and the tables were set out nicely. We were very happy with the service, the waiter was very friendly and accommodating! The food we had was really good, I especially liked the Prawn Puri and their Naan bread. I was happy with my food, but unfortunately my husband could not eat the butter chicken because, for some reason it tasted like it fell in the charcoal. When the waiter saw that he didn't finish it because of this, he was very accommodating, he offered us a new dish, but my husband was full from the naan bread by that time. Still, he wanted to be accommodating and offered us an alcoholic drink on the house, which was a nice gesture. All in all, if you're in that area and fancy some Indian, it's worth a try.

Ordered this on Just Eat after looking for a takeaway in north London that was reasonably priced. I implore any potential diners to not order from this restaurant. The food is inedible (seriously). Both curries (Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Balti) are extremely sour and taste disgusting. The only food that tastes normal was the Keema Naan, pilau rice, and popadoms. Truly vile. Not sure if this is what all food tastes like from this restaurant or if I somehow got extremely unlucky and either an ingredient was off or the chef was off sick that day.

I've been here twice. The first time we ate in the restaurant and the second was a takeway (last night). I have to say on both experiences the customer service was pretty dreadful. I found the eat-in experience difficult because the service was not very attentive and friendly. The staff came across as smarmy and insincere. Last night when I arrived through the door to pick up the takeaway I was greeted by one member of staff who didn't even say "hello" to me and just asked "what's your name?" and then walked off in a very abrupt manner. I then sat down and waited for my food and was greeted by another individual who perhaps was the manager who again did not say "hello" and instead just told me the cost of the food. I think this is pretty ridiculous.

While the food was pretty good when eating in the restaurant the takeaway wasn't great and the food wasn't piping hot when arriving home. In summary the customer service needs to match the quality of the food when...

Pleasantly Surprised! I had read a lot for reviews about the restaurant on line and many reviewers had recently been upset about the service, I rang and ordered a take away - I was told to expect it to be around 40 mins, when I got to the restaurant 5 minutes before time - I was politely asked to take a seat,(I also have to say that every table in the restaurant was reserved). I was only waiting for a couple of minutes before my bagged order was handed over. The food was great, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely use again. I think people need to recognise that perhaps the food cook time takes a little longer as everything tasted like it had been freshly prepared, not just taken out of the freezer. So if you decide to visit - be prepared for a longer wait on food as quality takes time! It's also not going to everyone's taste as some of the dishes do feel like they have a similar sauce base and the portions are smaller but personally I think...

I love Rasois. My whole family loves Rasois. Not to be dramatic or anything, but their Dahl Makhani has got me through some of the worst days of my life. The thing about Rasois is the food is always phenomenal. Also, everyone who works there seems to be exceptionally kind and warm. You just can’t help but feel better after going there? I had covid over NYE (which SUCKED), but ordering Rasois ALMOST made it feel ok. The portions are massive, so you always have too much food, but also always appreciate having leftovers for the rest of the week. My sister celebrated her birthday here last month and they brought out a chocolate cake with candles! It was delicious but since we weren’t expecting it we were COMPLETELY full already and had to carry the cake home. I particularly recommend the Dahl Makhani (of course), with the peshwari naan. I’m also a fiend for their...
