ISO SUSHI SIDCUP — Restaurant in London

It should really allow you to put 0 stars on here. Don't usually do reviews but i just had to because this place really is dreadful. Prices are normal for a sushi place but what we got in return definitely not worth it. Noodles=bland. I've honestly had better instant Noodles. Fish was not fresh. Rolls poorly assembled. I could've fine better using my feet. Tuna=Grey?. Salmon looked like it was from a supermarket. Mixed Sashimi we ordered was half SEARED??!!. When we returned it they still had the audacity to put it on our bill and the manager question why we wanted it removed from the bill? Seriously who cooks sashimi?! Girl who served us was okay at first but then service was non existent thereafter even though we were the only customers in there! The dude with long blonde hair who served us seemed clueless. When our bill was amended he asked how the rest of the food was and as I responded he starts to walk away? Seriously why bother. I feel sorry for anyone who actually rates the food in this place because you clearly don't know what real sushi is like. Itself too japanese cuisine. Only reason why we tried this place was because of the "positive" reviews which in my experience are definitely unjustified. I would upload pictures I took but my phone camera actually makes the food look more vibrant then the poor food we had in real life. I honestly feel like posting the pictures in black and white would've been a more accurate depiction. PLEASE AVOID IF YOU LIKE SUSHI. But feel free to visit if you ever wanna know what it feels like to eat poor quality food whilst listening to random house music and laughing at the fake bonsai trees that take up a quarter...

Absolutely dismal experience at iso sushi sidcup. You're firstly greeted by very loud inappropriate club music. The lady waitress was nice as she took our order but it unfortunately all went downhill from there. She brought over the pot of green tea but didn't pour it out and their tea pots are the short spout ones so half of it leaks all over the table as you're pouring it. The ramen was bland, the yakisoba did not taste authentic and the soft shell crab sushi was more breadcrumb than crab. But at least they were edible. Unfortunately, their tuna on the nigiri was grey! Did not look fresh and had probably been left out for too long and oxidised, we couldn't even try a single piece it just looked that unappetising. However, we had to complain about the mixed sashimi. The manager lied to us that it stated on the menu it is seared on one side and when he brought the menu over there was not one mention of seared sashimi. He then argued that it looks like the photo in the menu and on very close inspection you can see that there is a slither of searing but theirs was cooked a third way through which made the sashimi undelectably warm and chewy, not the melt in your mouth sashimi we're accustomed to even with supermarket bought sashimi. The owner obviously has no customer service experience rating by how he dealt with our complaint and how he has responded to other negative reviews on Google which has created the necessity for us to leave a review. The food is very pricey for the quality. Never in my life have I left a restaurant with food left on the plate and a sour taste...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The so called two owners of this business are selfish, ignorant and disgustingly rude! Their attitude is something else. I have read some replies from them to their reviewers and I am really shocked! Looks like they can’t take in or accept rejections , failures or people disapproving their food. A friend of mine had worked here for two weeks . They promised to pay my friend in cash every week and can leave if the job isn’t suitable . When my friend decided to leave they wouldn’t pay and decided to play little silly games . One of them asked to give an invoice and promised to pay which never happened . I’m sure this isn’t the first time they’ve done this with someone ! They’ve probably done this with many more people therefore they’re always looking out for new staff as the previous ones always leave!

Nonsense . Few years down the line this restaurant will close down because of the attitude they have ! ITS REAlly SAD AND UPSETTING HOW SOMEONE CAN DO THIS WITH ANOTHER HUMAN so I couldn’t help but write this review . Now i will have some dumb pathetic response on my review by one of these so called owners the same way they’ve left nasty responses back to the reviews .
