Jalisco Kitchen & Bar - Loughborough Junction — Restaurant in London

New location. I went there with a friend to check them out, and they didn’t disappoint, although the chef was not Mexican; she definitely managed to get their flavors going. I had chicken enchiladas, and my friend had BBQ ribs, as we had been told that so far it’s their customers' favorite. For starters, we had nachos, and for dessert, we had their churros, which were okay, and drinks; we had their lemonade. Our server, Eleia, was very sweet and friendly.

I also heard that their burritos are good, so next time I’m visiting London, I’ll definitely come by...

Nice space and people seem welcoming BUT a very basic food offer. Different “dishes” with the same ingredients from a burrito and the “naked burrito” (no tortilla) was even more expensive ?! Just work in your portions… don’t fill up the plate :S . Lack of flavour and seasoning. Rice was like out of a microwave bag, homemade guacamole went dark half way of the meal (didn’t feel like fresh and definitely needed more lime). Small margaritas :/ . This place was shockingly bad, Everything on the nachos (including the guacamole) felt like it had come out of a tin or tube. The tacos were basically swimming in water and the salad looked nice but had absolutely no flavour. The service was terrible and the food took so long we thought it had been forgotten (even though the place was pretty empty). It’s a shame because the location’s great for me and the outside area had potential but there’s way better places to eat so I’d recommend...
