A place that let's kids make slime.
The shop is down a alley under railway arches. The alley is not very tidy or desirable looking, totally not the shops' fault.
On our visit it was fully booked so every space was taken with kids eager to make glow in the dark slime.
The two women, introduced themselves, had all children sit on ground while the introduced different animal & insect slimes by a sideshow. I found this information interesting, don't think half the kids did.
Each kid had a table space to mix measured out ingredients, add a choice of colour, smell and different objects like spiders, coloured beads, glitter etc to their slime.
After each child was sat on the floor in a circle as one of the women made a very large bucket of slime. Children then got to pull said slime, this part was chaotic as some of the small children were pushed out of circle and didn't get a chance to play in this activity. This slime was sold for a pound after, which always turned a bit crazy, as children parents had no idea where queue for purchase of tubs started or ended. Slime, putty etc was also sold on way out which was chaos as many parents were trying to avoid purchasing such items but coat hangers were statically placed beside items.
My daughter loved it as she loves slime, but I don't think I...
Read moreVery cool experience for both children and adults! When the quote says "We learn something new everyday" Well, this sure is the case! Fantastic staff full of energy and funny too. This is our second time taking part on this Slimey adventure and it is totally worth going and paying for. The children also get to bring the slime they make and for an added £1, they can get another very cool plastic jar with extra slime to take with them! The workshop started pretty much in time and was all very organised. Children happily take part during the workshop and whilst both staff are there to make the experience super entertaining. To keep everything going smoothly (or slimey!) One staff helps the children (and parents) whilst the other one clears all items to keep everything neat and clean. By the way, the toilets are also clean! Overall, a very spooky experience for Halloween! Wishing Slime Planet...
Read moreI would highly recommend slime planet to anyone wanting to entertain the children (from ages 3 and up) My kids (ages 11&5) had an amazing time at the slime workshop making there own slime which they got to keep and then they enjoyed participating in the giant slime activity which they got to buy at £1 a jar. The staff was brilliant with all the children and so organised throughout the session. 5 stars for entertainment! Oh and the children didn't get anywhere near as messy as I anticipated infact they didn't have a spec of slime on them after haha. The price was so reasonable and worth every penny! I was especially impressed by the prices in the shop with a good variety of slime products to choose from. Thank you for having us we will definetly be visiting again! Perfect activity for a...
