KAT Coffee Company — Restaurant in London

I go to Kat Coffee multiple times a week, the sandwiches, cakes, coffee and smoothies are all amazing. This would easily get a 5 star from me HOWEVER one particular member of staff really let's them down!

I feel really terrible leaving a bad review, as most of the staff are so lovely, however one particular young blonde lady is always so rude that it really does ruin this place.

Myself and my partner have had numerous negative encounters with this lady getting annoyed and frustrated with us for absolutely zero reason...

Just a small handful of examples of things she's got annoyed at us for include; ordering 2 different smoothies instead of ordering 2 of the same one, taking my food outside as there were no tables left inside, asking to add an extra ingredient to my juice, walking in to order a coffee whilst she was making her lunch... the list goes on.

I worked in hospitality for years so am always so conscious to be extremely polite and understanding, and even so, when I'm served by her I'm just met with snappy responses, sighs and eye rolls.

It is such a shame because I really love this place, but she genuinely puts me off of going sometimes as she clearly hates her job and hates people. I hope some training can be done on customer service, as otherwise it...

Great coffee shop, efficient service and friendly staff. I ordered a flat white and a chai latte to take away. The flat whites are always good, the milk is perfect. Their chai latte is really tasty too, sweet and spicy - not sure if it's syrup or powder, or homemade, either way it tasted great.

All good, however, their pain au chocolat are stale and awful. They look promising but twice I've had dry, chewy pain au chocolat, even after asking if they were fresh. I've only ever come early in the mornings so it's disappointing to be served this at full price.

Kat Coffee Shop is an absolute gem! The ambiance is vibrant and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax. Their coffee and matcha are top-notch, and the service is outstanding—staff are warm, friendly, and make you feel right at home. There's a fantastic selection of cakes, pastries, and sandwiches to choose from, each one more tempting than the last. The interior is stylish and offers a calm, pleasant atmosphere that enhances the whole experience. I highly recommend this place! The apple crumble slice and Bakewell slice are particularly delicious.
